Anyone going down to stand outside the club with VOTE GOODWIN banners,or do we think most of our members are of sound body and mind to make the right choice. And if they do make the wrong choice then me thinks they're gonna get dogs for letting us all down and selling our club down the river.
I'd of been up for doing something like this but possibly a little late in the day to arrange now....

Not so worried about the members being of right mind to make the choice but I DO worry that Thommo/Tamplin will be pulling the wool over their eyes at every opportunity to get their way!

Alan, I believe the £200k is an amount just to secure the club for this season with more substantial investment and longer term plans for the club being put together during the season.

Slightly playing Devils Advocate but personally I hope the Members consider openly all offers and make the right decision and not dismiss or favour one over another without considering all aspects

One off payment for control then what
Staged payments totalling significantly more but what strings and safeguards are there or even plans for potentially more investment
A new person coming in with natural supporter concerns but maybe lots of ideas and plans
Existing good people maybe now having more opportunity for a change or more of the same
Would either consortium or even the third anonymous consider pooling resources and ideas to make a stronger club

Lots of issues to consider lets hear them all openly then consider

Surely the my sons team plays on a Sunday at the ground Gratis or your having nothing sums up one bid perfectly. If he owned 80% why would he need to ask anyone to to do that anyway?

There is only one option that has the best interests of the club.

Yeah, I get that is their pitch, but if we are willing to pan a bid that has a contract to make annual payments of £250k, it strikes me that we have to subject the other bid to the same level of scrutiny. They could have no plan and invest not a bean more and have acquired 51% of the club for little more than 1/4 of the other bid would have paid. Devils advocate.
