Re: Chambers returns

The usual ability of some on here to be completely unable to understand the views of others on here is at it's brilliant best. "Oh, someone isn't excited by a signing, I'm going to assume they want something that they've in no way actually said". "Oh, no-one has said a player is shit...

Re: Chambers returns

Agreed mikins. Season is two months away and people are already negative, why do people bother reading the official site expecting news of us signing a proven league two winger? Not gonna happen folks.

Waiting for the should of not gone to Spain so we could have signed someone better comment.

Re: 2014/15 Fixtures

Seems like I ask this question every year, what two games should I put in my schedule to take vacation on? One week, home/away or away/home? 14th March week, two homes games Southend being the big one on the sat followed by Plymouth on the Tuesday and then away to Stevenage the Saturday 21st which ...

Re: Season Tickets

I missed a few games last season and made sure I went to the cheap one and also got a freebie from a raffle, club are getting an extra £15 out of me next season.

Would like to hear some feedback about whether they are happy or not with the Early Bird Uptake? :geek:
Had an email from the club today, over 60% increase in ST sales
So we must have sold over 1000 then?

Re: 4 years!

Love the pic! One thing I remember from that game - that I never ever felt in any sporting scenario before was my the feeling I had of physical sickness. Only for approx the last 20 odd minutes or so (after Nursey scored). I have probably never enjoyed a game any less than I did then. Remember stan...

Re: Current Squad

Some clubs a as few as 6 contracted players in our division. So many players flying about at the moment clubs will be silly to start offering contracts early as most contract run out end of June in the pro game.

Re: The Released Players Thread - we've got no keepers!

Matt Saunders has now left the club, injuries made him a waste of a wage but a very good player when fit. Signing for someone else given he had a year left to go.

Re: Shrimpy.

We beat pretty much beat every team in the top half. We also beat Rochdale 3-0 and Burton home and away in the league and the tie in the play offs was settled by a very lucky goal. That's life and I'm looking foward to having another crack at the top 3 finish. I don't believe we are championship cl...

Re: The Released Players Thread

He got given a limited chance and didn't look great, but is young enough to develop. I'm not surprised he's chosen to move on. With Lewington going, to not even be offered a contract is probably a bit of a kick in the teeth and not something that would make me feel particularly wanted. How do you k...

If he is injured I was thinking about, but would not surprise me if someone came in for him.

Would like to see using him if the monies right, he would make a good replacement for Abu.
