Well done Joel on some well thought out questions and equally well done to Darryl for answering as best he could in a friendly manner. Previous manager take note.
Must be my age but I do at times struggle with Darryl’s rapid talking Irish lilt.
Thanks Joel for the subtitles.

Re: Refund?
I wouldn’t be asking for anything back, also season ticket holders are not the only ones to have lost out. On the commercial side Sponsors, advertisers, match and match ball sponsors, hospitality boxes, match mascots may have all paid upfront and may not all ask for money back.I doubt whether hospit...

Re: Hang on... two potentially decent strikers??
We watched McQueen play for Ebbsfleet v Spurs U23 in a preseason friendly 2 seasons ago and he ripped Spurs apart who were managed by Wayne Burnett. I remember raving about him on this forum. Don’t know how our “scouting system” missed him and let him go to Dartford. Star for Ebbsfleet was no. 14 D...

Re: New Season 3 Oct
I agree with Arnu. I am 100% for the wearing of masks in restrictive indoor areas and I DO in shops, post offices, etc.but this should have been enforced in early March. I am on heart medication and I do find a mask too hot and breathing restrictive plus the usual steaming up of spectacles. My time s...

Re: Could New Season Start On Time
It is possible mate. It depends on if player testing is needed by then and if so who would pay for it. Social distancing down to 1 metre shouldn’t be too far away. Danish club today had a 2 seat gap between fans except for same household members. If the pubs are open by July 4th as some pub groups a...

I was wondering about that as well. We have 4 tickets here plus car parking bought and paid for. Sure it will be a long wait but will have to be played sometime, maybe next year.

Re: Season Tickets 20/21
Thought all of our full time employees including players have been furloughed? Steve Thomson in a statement said they have all been furloughed, the problems could be when their contracts run out. Furloughing as I understand it has allowed non contract staff in other employment i.e hospitality, fast...

Re: Season Closuer Nearer
What I can see happening in the future of lower league football is doom and gloom initially but the end result should benefit the game. I think some clubs will go under (Rhyl already have). I think many clubs will return to or go part time and average pay scales of managers, coaches and players cou...

Re: Season Closuer Nearer
I have seen from various sources on Twitter today that emails have already been sent to EFL clubs recommending that clubs should be preparing for a mini preseason commencing May 16th. It is then proposed to restart the season on the weekend of June 6th. Matches played behind closed doors with possib...

Re: Barnet in trouble!
Do I sympathise or feel guilty cos many more clubs could be in the same position soon. But after the way we were all treated the last time I went allowing us to miss the first goal and the ticket office fiasco, along with aggressive stewards. Nah... Barnet with your crappy pitch and owners... you as...

Re: Coronavirus
Not sure if this angle has been mentioned yet. I’ve been wondering if Reading raised an objection re Ben House playing or maybe the player himself. EFL Clubs told games off, Reading EFL Club that Ben House is a player from. Would there have been problems with the player’s club insurance that I presu...
