Re: Grimsby
The thing is, that the best partnership, is not the same as who are the best 2 players.
Akanbi seemed to link the team together better on Saturday, because he gave us an outlet.
We kept pinging fairly hit and hope type balls down the channels, but for once, we had a willing runner, who made ...

Re: Grimsby
Going to go against the grain here with the McCallum/Angelo business. When Daryl signed McCallum and asked him who he would want to bring here, without hesitation he said Josh Walker. We have been a better side with Walker/McCallum than with Balanta.

Re: Head of Recruitment
Mark arber was there today
He works for ISM (Ray Winstone's football agency) as head of recruitment. Interesting because he definitely knows a good player when he see's one, old man was also a scout at Arsenal. I doubt he will be as he'll be earning more at ISM, but who knows, could be a side ...

Head of Recruitment
As much as John Still nearly killed our club by demanding a payout when he left for Barnet.... the man was the reason our season changed last year and the reason we were sitting where we were after 6 games or so.
Daryl's recruitment is horrendous, shown by his signings and if i were the owners, i ...

Re: Dogshit
Ogogo... really? He isn't great and he looked average when we played Southend. The club has a history of pulling in former players rather than moving forward. Ogogo is not good enough and he hasn't done anything at Southend.

Re: Chesterfield (H)
We can't keep going without signing a centre back surely? The three that started did a good job, although we know they always have a mistake in them. Even before Johnson went off I'd have liked someone more commanding but it was even more needed after that.
We had 5 first team players out today ...

Re: Weymouth (H)
Great effort tonight again. Once again we gifted then a start and in my opinion a harsh penalty decision put us in a bit of a snooker at half time.
One or two were not at their best tonight, must be Vehlitte poorest game for a long while despite his goal. He Looked a lot better Second half when ...

Re: Torquay (H)
Really annoying, watching this game on my iPad in London , really good reception in HD and always enjoy the banter between Glassy and Mick Payne and then CRASH , I was thinking that it was my iPad gone wrong, I passed it to my partner who is much more savvy on these things and she confirmed that ...

Brundle is not about because of personal issues i have heard. There will be a lot of changes, including manager for the next year.

Re: Hartlepool
To be brutally honest... i dont think that Hartlepool were as good at what everyone is saying. I didnt think we were great and should definitely have scored a few. McCallum watched a ball go over his head and let their man take the ball down the pitch without moving a muscle.

Re: Time for Daryl to go?
Surely time is up? Yet another home defeat not scoring, how much does it take for us to sack an underperforming manager? Yes we played ok last month but still not enough is it, well it’s enough to keep him in a job. Time and time again we leave it too late to make these decision, new owners same ...

Re: Maidenhead
At the end of the day it's 3 points. On countless occasions we haven't been clinical and that's the difference between 0 and 3 points. If we finished like we did in other games, we would've been 1-0 down. McCallum did what we did best and nabbed goals in the box. Not pretty but luck was on our side ...

Wilkinson
Would you say he had a record? I felt like he was unproven and he came in hungry. However, PMC took the goal well last night and hopefully this kicks him on. He puts a shift in defensively, but thats not what we pay him for. Would be good to see us take our chances though. Balanta and ...

Solihull Moors (a)
Well, well, well... game day is upon us again. They are no 6 words any Dagenham fan wants to hear. Personally, i'm concerned about the way we are playing and missing golden chances. However, i'd be more concerned if we werent creating chances at all.

Re: Notts County Match
I do think we would stand a chance if we didn't start 2 nil down. Great for handicap betting i suppose?
Obviously your wish has been granted!
Might put the lottery on. Happens every week, never start well. Putting things into perspective, McCallum scores 20+ goals every year. He comes here ...
