It just seems a lot of guesswork at the moment and hopefully the club will issue an updated list of the owners shortly.
I say this because when it was revealed that KSI was involved there was a suggestion in some quarters that he had aquired 20% of the club.

Re: John Still and Tony Fernandes spotted at last game
Southend fans don’t think John Still has done a very good job as their head of recruitment, I would rather we not turn to the old boys club for assistance.
Tony was very nice when I spoke to him, not sure him being involved will be announced as such but he’s involved and investing so big win for ...

Re: John Still and Tony Fernandes spotted at last game
I know John Still loves the Daggers most sincerely as he has said many times but the thought of him being involved with us in any capacity would be a frightening prospect.
He did some great things here but those days are now long gone.
He has also been employed by Southend for many years and imagine ...

Re: Torquay (h)
Good result, poor game with both sides really depleted with injuries made it a battle with little quality.
Most important thing was the atmosphere and buzz around the ground, have to keep that momentum for the remaining games with what must be many new comers attending, hopefully we push on ...

Re: KSI: What It Means
A piece in the Daily Telegraph today making comparisons with the project started a few years ago with Wrexham.
In the short time he has been involved with us, it seems already we have reached a far wider audience.

Re: Torquay (h)
A great result in which all the players put in a good shift. Torquay only looked a bit dangerous in the last 15 minutes but generally looked very ordinary. A decent crowd again with a good atmosphere.

Re: Bradbury
Also in reality Gerard has been with Boreham Wood for years and stands a chance this season of getting them into the football league via the playoffs so it wouldn't seem very likely he would be that interested in our vacancy.

Re: Bradbury
Luke Garrard of Boreham Wood is a better choive imho. Has done great things over the past few seasons and if he would drop down a division reckon he's a good choice. Don't know about Jimmy Ball's previous success rate. Totton don't seem to be setting National South alive.
I mentioned Jimmy Ball ...

Torquay (h)
With the opposition appointing a new manager yesterday along with Andy Carroll taking the reigns for us on a temporary basis, it's all change in the dugouts.
It will be a tough game because Torquay need to add to their points total to ensure a play-off place.
I hope Joe Haigh is available because ...

Re: Andy Carroll
Totally agree with the awful “parking the bus” tactics used by Bradbury. I wouldn’t have minded so much had they worked because then perhaps he would have had some justification in using them but they didn’t. We have lost a number of games and points during this season because of this.

Re: Bradbury
Jimmy Ball who has now been made the Torquay manager would have been a good fit, he did amazingly well at Totton as we know from getting well beaten a few weeks ago.
It is now a case of getting the right person in the job who can take us forward, which in this respect I have every confidence in them.

Yes agree with that, get behind Andy Carroll and the team until a successor is appointed. With Bradbury gone we can now get somebody who hopefully can take the club forward.

We keep him until we appoint a new manager. I would hope the new owners have been looking at this likelihood recently anyway.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: Wed Mar 18, 2026 7:50 pm Do we keep Andy Carroll for the rest of the season at the helm or just a fixture or two?

Re: Lee Bradbury - GONE
He had to go,so very much the correct decision. The new owners can now concentrate on getting in a new manager.
It has been very frustrating this season with Bradbury's negative brand of football and losing lots of games because of it.

Re: Farnborough (a)
Dieng is on a two year deal, a very good player on his day but cannot disagree that he is very injury prone.
Also, because it seems that all the other teams in this division are inconsistent in winning more than a game or two and putting a run together, it seems to act as a protective shield around ...
