Re: Faded memory

Yes thanks for that, I remembered it was something to do with scoring three goals and you rightly say it paid you a £40 bonus which does not seem much now but was certainly welcomed by clubs at that level then.

Faded memory

I have a vague memory of many years ago the league Dagenham fc were in experimented with awarding an extra point in league games to a team who won by three or more goals. I would appreciate anyone with further information as to whether this is correct or with all the things going on at the moment my...

Re: M-m-m-my Corona

It is a time when people are obviously concerned as this is something that is very unknown, but if everyone can remain sensible and not selfish hopefully we can get this under control and return to some normality in the near future.

Re: Barnet in trouble!

I agree totally that there is nothing to celebrate over this, as this could affect many clubs in all divisions and also we are certainly not immune as a club to financial disaster.

Re: Coronavirus

I think similar to the government policy nobody knows whether decisions made at the moment will only be found to be correct when assessed in the future when hopefully things will peak and then return to normal. At times like this people will have different views and opinions including so called expe...

Re: Attendance

Just seen a stat which suggests we are the 26th best supported non league side. Worrying I don't know why that should be a surprise to you as we are traditionally a non league club with attendances that are affected greatly by our close proximity to West Ham and the fact that you can get cheapish s...

Re: Hartlepool

I thought we played some great football today with some very good performances from many of the team. I also think Quigley has also shown a lot of people on here what he is capable of doing and why Taylor signed him.

Re: Maidenhead United (A)

It's a good position to be in when everyone's playing well but we also have players that can come in and do a good job if things start to slip.

Re: Maidenhead United (A)

A very good performance all round. I thought we made a side that have done well so far this season look very ordinary. We should have scored more goals and made the game more comfortable than the score suggests.

Re: Rhys Murphy

The manager changed the system with the introduction of some width in the second half and it was a good performance with a great finish. Seven points in the last nine days is very encouraging and all in all a great day.

Re: Taylor out !!

Despite the result on Saturday I was still feeling positive until I read your post. I think now I may have to sell my season ticket on e bay unless there are any takers on this forum.

Re: Quiet on here

I thought Quigley held the ball up well, won a few headers and also made the goal, however the standout player for me for his energy and commitment was Odametey who looks a very good signing and just what we needed.
