Agree with that, much too early to worry about relegation.

Re: NL: Oldham Athletic (A) 7 October 2023

Agree with Sussex that we have been so unlucky with injuries this season that have impacted on games that we would otherwise have got points from. In particular, the last two home games where we lost both that we should of won fairly convincingly. Also agree with his point about how fortunate we are...

Re: NL: Oldham Athletic (A) 7 October 2023

With Effiong now back and over the next couple of weeks others returning to fitness, things will hopefully improve, as yesterday away to an in form team was a good result. One back two out tho . Hill and Travares now join the list Hopefully not too serious as have been out best two players this sea...

Re: Aaron Blair

I was hoping big things from him this season but having seen him mainly in the friendlies unfortunately looked very lightweight so not surprised he has gone. Hopefully we won't regret this decision but maybe free up some of the budget for a replacement.

Re: FA Cup draw this afternoon

A banana skin of a game for us but financially we need to beat them and make some money for the club, that would help in possibly strengthening the squad.

Re: 2023: How did we get here

I totally agree with your assessment of what has been happening over the last six months or so and feel sorry for Ben Strevens because with a bit more backing I think he could be a success in managing a successful team here.

Perhaps he has been on a couple of courses since leaving us and is now something of an expert!

I would like to think Effiong might be back for Saturday, also is Weston available after international duty?

Came on as a late sub for Southend last night having signed for them on a dual registration with Hayes and Yeading.

Re: NL: AFC Flyde (H) 2 September

Charging more on the day, the new addition of a restricted view in the sieve, lack of bar in the home end. Are all reasons to put people off. That and the fact we’ve been crap for years. I would be astonished if putting a bar in the home end would add to the attendance but would agree that our poor...

Re: NL: AFC Flyde (H) 2 September

Another very good performance by all the players, Ryan Hill is like a pocket dynamo, he has got so much energy, what a great signing. Tavares and Mussa were excellent again and just shows what was missing last season. Three wins on the spin, what a difference to 10 days ago!

Re: Loan Market

Defender signed from Luton for the season which is great news, hopefully over the next couple of weeks some of our players will be returning from injury as well.

I'm pleased you have clarified this because I didn't have a clue either, I thought it must be some secret code.

Re: Barnet

A great team performance, based on hard work and determination to win every ball, with special mention to Mussa and Hill who both came into the side and were excellent.
