Re: Good point. Good performance. Good atmosphere
Exactly what was missing in Cumbria. Proud of the fight we showed despite nothing to play for. Bumper crowd too and can just enjoy ( but still fight) Saturday and the subsequent couple. Great chants too.

Useful at times but ultimately degrading the club.

Re: Change for Change sake
Wouldn't it be brilliant to put paid to Stillys playoff aspirations. Know nit much to play for but one last mesmerising performance to get the sieve buzzing would be brilliant. COYD

Re: Cureton Appreciation Thread
Doubt he'd leave as that'd mean relocating his family to wherever he goes (think he said he lives near Dagenham) so hopefully that means he'll stay. Because he lives near, he'll probably get a coaching role like Currie did and get a job working with the firsts or youngsters upon retirement.

Re: For the sake of an arguement
I see both points. Adrian's point about Cureton is valid but extreme. Without Cureton, we'd have had a different striker who most likely wouldn't have scored as many but would have scored in places and helped us pick up points along the way. We'd have been a good few points fewer off without him th...

Ashley Chambers
Dont really think he deserves all the critisism and although hes prone to a bad games, he has shone in games suvh as Carlisle, Brentford and without doubt looked lively against Wycombe. Hes worse than Hemmings but he certainly offersa lot.

Agree, think it was Woodall in the final game of the 11/12 season where we beat Bristol Rovers 4-0.

Re: 4-0?!?!?!?!?
We were in quite a dangerous situation come half time, the downside of scoring early is youre under more pressure for longer. By two they were chasing the game and ultimately as they tried to salvage it JC exploited the gaps to finish it off. If Wimbledon would have equalised tbh I wouldve backed th...

Re: For the sake of an arguement
Think JC and MC - not sure what order- will occupy the first two places whilst Billy Bingham will secure third.

Re: 4-0?!?!?!?!?
They weren't a bad outfit prior to chasing the game. Then there were acres of space to exploit. DAGGERS!

I'm gonna throw a spanner in the works and say we'll nick a 1-0. Of course that's my heart speaking so probably 2-0 Shrewsbury.

Re: Who are our best players in order?
The front runners for me are Abs,JC, Doey and Bingham (no order) and close behind are Cousins, Ayo, Hemmings and Chambers. The reason they are not in the top three is the top three are the most consistent and more so than Ayo who is error-prone at times, Hemmings who has a tendency to drift in &...
