Re: How has it come to this?

I'd keep Phipps, Rees, Easty if he truly recovers from his hamstring issues, and Dion. In reality of course none of them other than maybe Phipps will want to stay. I'd try to cash in on Oscar if possible but I don't think he's been brilliant himself outside of a two month window. Would be good to se...

Re: Tamworth

On paper Strevs was not getting the required results and something had to change. Justham also was not playing well. However I do strongly suspect behind the scenes issues played a part in that. It's fine to move people on for football reasons but there's ways of doing that which have a bit more cla...

Re: Must be nailed on now

Dion has been carrying injuries for months. If we weren't so desperate I doubt he'd have played so much. Rushed him back once again to try to drag us back into the Woking game, then had to go off at half time in the next game against Oldham. Fair play to the guy that he's willing to risk himself con...

Re: Message from the Chairman

We're trying to improve the squad that's why we let decent players leave and brought in a GK with about 30 career games in 10 years, a midfielder who can't get in the starting eleven, and some teenagers. Top job Dan.

Re: Message from the Chairman

The narrative he's trying to push around Young Vs Strevens is absolute gaslighting. Under Strevens the results apparently weren't good enough, the cup run masked failure in the league, and Braintree was the final straw. Yet apparently Young is starting to build a hardworking team that represents Dag...

Re: Boston

If we stay up it'll be because the bottom 4 haven't picked up many more points. I can't see who we're beating. Aldershot this midweek is must not lose but if we play like today they'll beat us easily. Barnet will annihilate us. We need a new manager, sack the DoF, and at least three new players befo...

Re: Message from the Chairman

A very good interview with excellent questions. I am glad he admits Ben was sacked in poor fashion. I still think he's skirting around the Justham thing and I would have liked a much more direct question regarding how he was strongarmed into ultimately departing. I am also glad he admits the signing...

Re: Season Ticket Renewal

I've missed more games this season than usual, 3 or 4 so far I think. I don't mind us being a bit rubbish, we've been that way for years now. But a lot of what I loved about the club has gone. And to be honest a lot of what I loved about lower league football has gone too. It used to be people who p...

Re: Oldham

Was great to see some proper effort today wasn't it. Endeavour goes a long way. Thought Eastman was largely excellent against Fondop although he did score, need to see it back to understand how he was totally unmarked. Loupalo-Bi excellent too. Reesy led by example. Remy did quite well from the benc...

Re: Oldham

Hill went off as he was on a booking and a red card waiting to happen. He absolutely crunched the fella in the corner and got away with it.

Re: Fylde away

Our new manager seems to have an aversion to sharing any kind of injury update. So we'll have to guess about Phipps.

He'll likely start Dion out of desperation but wouldn't surprise me if he broke down again.

Re: Yeovil home

Clayton I thought was defensively suspect. His man got several crosses into our box without much pressure. However his natural left foot gave us balance and he put in some decent deliveries. Would persevere with him. Loupalo-Bi did quite well, linked with Umerah and Rees, got a couple of shots off a...

Re: Yeovil home

Better, but we didn't win. Who are we going to beat? Harvey very solid, pen save was excellent. Easty and PK totally untroubled. As mentioned Rendall once again very erratic. Clayton I thought looked quite shaky defensively but delivered a few decent crosses. Probably about the best game I can recal...

Re: Who should be skipper

Here you go Easty here's the armband but you can whistle for a contract extension.

There's literally nobody who is suited which probably tells you a lot about our recruitment. No leaders.

Re: Elliott Justham

An embarrassing end to this saga from the club's perspective. Elliott's form has not been good this season but it is irrelevant, he is the captain, he has given us 9 years of service, is loved by the fans, and is a great ambassador for the club. If we would like to part ways for football reasons the...
