Re: Finishing the season

Just to be devil's advocate Yes they could play behind closed doors. What if I'm a player and I'm worried about catching/ spreading the virus? How can you make me play ? The only lawsuit I could see having some weight would be against the national League if they were to insist teams play. It is mil...

Re: Finishing the season

Right...... The oracle that is ARNU ( me) predicts the following: All league's will be null and void. Nobody promoted or relegated this season. Whoever is left financially able to will go again when it's safe to do so. Some clubs will fold, maybe, but probably not, the govt might dig them out. Don'...

Re: AFC Fylde

Excitement about the new manager or not, you can't excuse how few clear cut chances we created compared with the number of forwards we had on the pitch. I don't think I'm going to renew next year. This season has been so dull We got ourselves in good positions to deliver crosses to create chances f...

Re: Pondfield Road Parking

I have driven from Rayleigh but also prefer to use the trains as I like a pint ior two before games. If this now means driving more often than not then that's ok. The only downside at mo is the lack of or no trains at weekend on the Southend Vic to Liverpool St line. Driving is the best way to get t...

Re: Pondfield Road Parking

PONDFIELD ROAD JCT WITH ALIBON RD (JUST PAST) TO REEDE ROAD so look out for parking restriction signs. So you still can get close to the ground by parking on Wantz road. There's double yellow lines in places along there. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the away coaches. We need to ret...

Re: Pondgield Road Parking

Time to review parking at the club and whether there is scope to offer some paid parking, rather than give it away? I agree, most clubs charge for parking on site some as much as £5. That's a lot of money over a season. Could we not enquire with the council to see if we can purchase some of the gra...
