Re: Yeovil Town (H)

I'd say there was markedly less hoofball than Tuesday. That said, if we're calling a spade a spade, today was absolute dog sh@t. Not a serious attempt at goal in 90 mins, a third of which Yeovil had 10 men. The only positives I could see was Justham had a blinder again and made up for his rare error...

Re: Streaming

Superb quality stream, a million times better than the automatic crap. Prefer Glassy as main commentator but Mike Jones is doing an admirable job. Decent first 20 mins or so to the half but Yeovil well on top since. Forced two worldie saves from Justham and hit the bar, very lucky not to be behind. ...

FA CUP

Drawn at Home to Hartley Wintney of the Southern Premier League. So, under current circumstances this game will need to be played behind closed doors BUT there seems an easy work around with this, which is to seek agreement to switch the fixture to the ground of our lower league opponents? I don't k...

Re: West Ham Ladies

Fcuk me - we are just (HOPEFULLY) coming through the othe other side of the worst pandemic in living history and still we cant take what is a no-lose attempt at getting some extra people through the gate without shooting it straight down in flames. The reaction to Peter F on twitter was embarrassing...

Commercial Manager

Morning all, hope everyone is keeping well.

Have just seen our new (and good) commercial manager, Lloyd has announced he has been made redundant.

Interesting decision to say the very least at a time when bringing extra cash into the club will be of absolute importance ...... :eh:

Re: Season Tickets 20/21

Behind closed doors ar our level will only really work financially if some kind of stream to watch season ticket is brought in to ensure supporters of all clubs can still watch the games, albeit from home. Id have no issue paying out for a season ticket at the same cost as last year to watch online,...

Re: Season Closuer Nearer

I've just seen that clubs have until the deadline of 7th May to get their votes in .. that's still almost 3 weeks away. Why on earth is this being dragged out until then, I've no idea!! The BBC says they found 10 want the season to end immediately, four want it to continue, nine are undecided and on...

Re: Best goal you've ever seen live

Two others that stand out for me. For the sheer elation, Robbo's injury team equaliser in the FA Cup Vs Basingstoke. To this date, I have probably not gone as totally mental in reaction to a goal as I (and everyone else there) did. At the yoof of today would call it 'absolute scenes'. Also, in the F...

Best goal you've ever seen live

So, there is a bit of a tenuous link as to why I've posted this and it comes from watching Question Time right now after a bloke mentioned an article in the Kidderminster Shuttle. So, that quite obviously (ha ha) took me to rememebering the goal Benno scored against Kidderminster some number of year...

Re: Non League Football cancelled at Steps 5/6

So now steps 3-6 have all been cancelled. I do wonder if it's realistic that ay of the 3 National Leagues (for the current season) will ever resume. Its not looking a realistic prospect, is it?? With the money involved there's a lot more financial incentive to complete the Premier League and such li...
