Re: Taylor out !!

Quigley has near enough everything except he cant finish! I mean that is detrimental for a striker but he plays on the smallest defender and wins everything. He holds it up well too. I have a feeling he will be an Akinde that leaves and plays under/with someone who is a proper finisher. He will be ...

Re: Taylor out !!

Well we have sort of got him out for a bit. Apparently he has just had an operation and will have a phased return. They haven't said how long the phasing is but even a fortnight would be a chance to see if getting his negativity out the way helps things at all.

Re: Taylor out !!

I'm sure the owners have already looked at it but we do need an investigation into why there are so many injuries. Why does everyone out for a week or two end up on the operating table. Is it outdated equipment, staff, practices, do we rush guys back into training too early and make problems worse, ...

Re: Tamplin

Unless he is going to have more level headed expectations I don't see where the fanbase will come from to justify his usual tactic of mass spending on showcase signings. A lot of the local clubs are doing reasonably ok, even Hornchurch are making a big push for promotion into conference south and si...

Re: One step forward and Two steps back

I agree with some of the thoughts around Quigley that he is improving a lot. He generally wins most crosses that come to him and tries to link someone else up even with almost every defender pulling him back. His play is more Emile Heskey, just now we need someone to step up and attempt to be Michae...

Re: One step forward and Two steps back

Annoying we didn't turn up till we were 2 down but thought we did ok after that just shame we were against one of the better teams to come here in a while. I don't know why Barrow felt the need to start kicking the ball away from the 30th min considering they are good enough to play most of this lea...

Re: Team vs Barrow

Battle of the Quigleys tonight. Their Quigley being one of the league's top goalscorers...Not being able to have that back 3 of Manny, Clark, Croll and Wright being allowed that free to run wing back style role is a real loss. I would probably reverse things from normal, Make Wright, Croll and Manny...

All the Best

To Romain Vincelot.

Sounds like a bit of a 50-50 of he will ever play again. Wouldn’t want the career of one of our best ever players to end like this.

Re: Matchday Hospitality & Clubhouse

I'm sure I heard a few years ago that the chef asked to do something different for hospitality but Thommo refused and said he had to keep doing roasts. Shame because mixing it up with things like curry, fish and chips, Pie and Mash nights, etc would be a great idea. I can't believe we haven't lost a...

Re: Trouble at Boreham Wood

I reckon they just count all season ticket holders regardless of whether they have come or not. Me and the family have wondered if we might be doing something like that at times. There are some matches where what I can see just doesn't add up to what they announce.

Trouble at Boreham Wood

BBC suggesting the Chairman of Boreham Wood might be about to reduce his investment in the club because of how badly attended the matches are. I thought Daggers attendance was poor at 1,000, they had 406 at the weekend and if you take away season tickets and away fans only 46 people showed up. He mi...

Re: Who would you like to see at Dagenham next season?

Won’t be seeing Blair Turgott. Joined a Swedish top flight side Östersunds I think. Vaguely remember seeing their name come up in Europa league a few times and according to Wikipedia finished 6th last year so massive jump for him

Re: Who would you like to see at Dagenham next season?

The club starts training now so I would certainly offer him to come in for a trial. We are a club that has offered people a chance to turn their lives around (Pennel and his knife point robbery if I'm remembering rightly and Wilkinson with his lazy badboy image, not sacking Labadie after his biting ...
