Re: Morias to Hornchutch
It’s undeniable that Hornchurch are a better team than us this year and will finish above us. But it is funny seeing that they are starting to lose and McMahon’s only move is to spend more money and sign more attackers. If he doesn’t take them up he might cause them to go to the wall, he is that ...

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?
Well if this is true, it’s very disappointing. Also I’d be very pissed off if I was Alan Jeyes being told to deliver a message that the takeover was delayed because it needed restructuring, when actually it would appear that it was delayed because the other buyers had pulled out.

Re: Totton [a]
Wow I didn’t see that coming in a million years. What a result and day for all of those involved. Maybe the first time we scored 5 on the road since Solihull in the John Still days - but to win 5-0, I cannot remember when that last happened. Home or away. When did we even last win 3 matches back to ...

Re: Chesham [h]
We definitely would have lost that a few weeks ago. So the fact we haven’t is a big positive, I think everyone played well today and Maghoma, Lusala and the front two were all very impressive.
What I am still frustrated by is how easily we scored two simply because we tried to win by attacking and ...

Re: Maidenhead [h]
Are the changes due to Terry Harris?
Maybe in part. But also the teams we have played is helping us.
Enfield: 21st
Chippenham: 24th
Farnborough: 20th
Eastbourne: 23rd
Bath : 16th
Tilbury: 2 leagues below
Maidenhead: 15th
We have had a very kind run of fixtures to only lose once through. But ...

Re: Maidenhead [h]
Attacking formation haha.
I see tomorrow being a 0-0 followed by Bradbury heading back into the tunnel post-match, chest puffed out, proud of him only losing once in 9, yet with only 4 league wins to our name.

Re: Tilbury [h]
Agreed, I’d be resting a lot of players here and still expecting a win. Carroll should not be anywhere near the lineup. It’ll become obvious very early on that the Tilbury players will just want to leave mark on him, if he does start.

Re: is this us??!
2000 average, 150 years old, in a top tourist destination, well connected by rail to the north, plans for 3.5k homes opposite the club. I’m not sure what club that is but it certainly isn’t us. If it is us then no wonder the takeover has stalled and needed to be reworked as we have lied through our ...

Re: Bath (A)
Think we played Bath away in the FA Cup maybe 15 years ago. Believe it was a 1-0 win at their place and featured without a doubt the worst corner that has ever been taken in football history, where Dominic Green (I think) just missed the ball and twatted the flag.

Re: Eastbourne [a]
Glad we won, sad it means Bradbury will go to sleep tonight with a job.
Honestly sounded like a dreadful match and if it wasn’t for Carroll and their injuries we would be going home furious once again. We have picked up 7 from the last 9, let’s use this as the springboard to kickstart our season ...

Re: Jason Adigun
I don’t want to keep hold of players that don’t want to be here, but why should Adigun have wanted to be here? He was loaned out by Y***g and not given a chance when we really could have done with a player like that, given how crap Khaleel was for us. Then having proved his worth, he returns to a ...

Re: Farnborough [h]
One thing I cannot work out with Lee Bradbury is how he hasn’t managed to tell any of our attackers to stand near Carroll to feed off the long balls he wins. Too many times we see him winning something in the air and either no one reads the flick on, or he’s knocking it down to one of our many ...

Re: Farnborough [h]
I am so confused… The fans were not negative throughout the match but the players and tactics were still shit. Can we get another statement telling us what is behind our terrible performances please?

Re: Announcement from the Members Club Director
All I took away from this is that the takeover is still in progress (which they could have said ages ago) and that they are sticking by Bradbury (which is pathetic). I’m glad something has been said, but it does nothing to make me feel any better about the future of the club.
