Re: Hemel (A)
Everyone was pretty crap today, the goal conceded was embarrassing from KML and Harrack. Then everyone else was putting in a pathetic performance to match. Marsh & Dieng maybe the worst midfield pairing we have seen, whilst Dieng can also take the plaudits for being the most useless captain we have ...

Re: Hemel (A)
Really needs to be a win to get our form back up and running. Maybe even Carroll back now that his case is adjourned.
As an aside, does anyone know where the best place is to park for the game? Can’t find anything online.
What was the ruling for Caroll? Pushed back to a later date or a ...

Re: Flares
They will only be seen at Hornchurch and Chelmsford games, similar to how we only saw it at Southend last year. There may be a group of 30 or so kids that this flare came from, but it’s one flare being thrown by one person. To stop it the stewards just need to be more competent, which unfortunately ...

Re: Chelmsford
Well that is the most surprising result I have seen since the 6-1 against Alty. How on earth did Chelmsford fall apart like that so quickly? By and large everyone was pretty good, still a lot of work to be done in midfield though. But Broad was sensational and Haigh’s performance deserved a goal ...

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?
There were never any Qataris to begin with. Only a made up Youssef character that no one anywhere at the club has claimed to have met. Similarly the delay isn’t the deal being “restructured”, unless you deem restructuring as buying time to desperately find a new buyer to save face.

Re: Hornchurch
Well Hornchurch turned up and did exactly what we all thought they would do — served Darryl McMahon slop which was not impressive at either end, yet somehow dismantled us. What a dark day for the club. Playing Hornchurch in a league fixture is bad enough, losing like that is awful.

Re: Tonbridge [a]
Great to score 2 without Carroll is about as far as the positives go for me. This slow down in performances in the build up to two huge games isn’t great, our midfield and back three really are all over the place now. Not even sure if Dieng is fit given his recent drop off.

Re: Slough (H)
We all should have been prepared for our season being defined by when Carroll is and isn’t fit, and we have done well with his fitness so far this season. It’s worrying though that we just do not have a plan B for when he is out, poor Stephenson & De Silva having to deal with long balls against ...

Re: AC at this point in the season
I think he is exceeding expectations when it comes to fitness, we already have a lot more mins out of him than expected. For me I think performance-wise he is probably meeting expectations individually. But has been let down by those around him so until recently it hasn’t really delivered anything ...

Re: Morias to Hornchutch
It’s undeniable that Hornchurch are a better team than us this year and will finish above us. But it is funny seeing that they are starting to lose and McMahon’s only move is to spend more money and sign more attackers. If he doesn’t take them up he might cause them to go to the wall, he is that ...

Re: When do we get to see the New Owners?
Well if this is true, it’s very disappointing. Also I’d be very pissed off if I was Alan Jeyes being told to deliver a message that the takeover was delayed because it needed restructuring, when actually it would appear that it was delayed because the other buyers had pulled out.

Re: Totton [a]
Wow I didn’t see that coming in a million years. What a result and day for all of those involved. Maybe the first time we scored 5 on the road since Solihull in the John Still days - but to win 5-0, I cannot remember when that last happened. Home or away. When did we even last win 3 matches back to ...

Re: Chesham [h]
We definitely would have lost that a few weeks ago. So the fact we haven’t is a big positive, I think everyone played well today and Maghoma, Lusala and the front two were all very impressive.
What I am still frustrated by is how easily we scored two simply because we tried to win by attacking and ...
