Re: Yeovil Town (H)

Well the injuries and Robinson seemingly falling out of favour isn’t helping us to rest legs. But I didn’t say it’s acceptable that we seem to be struggling for fitness, I just said the break for the FA Cup should give us some rest that we really need right now.

Re: Yeovil Town (H)

Definitely 2 points dropped there. But a massive improvement on previous performances, and maybe if the ref gave that clear penalty on Deering then we would have got the result we deserved. Personally I think if we had McCallum playing to be winning the balls for McQueen to run on to, then we would ...

Re: FA CUP

A workaround for who’s benefit? Why would we willingly decide to play in a ground with only opposition fans present, potentially no streaming service (or an even worse quality that is currently on offer), and on what will probably be a poor quality pitch so we can risk even more players becoming inj...

Re: Injury update 20/21 season

The bloke is a liability. I know nothing about physiotherapy but it seems to be constant throughout the seasons that we do this and Gowens needs to take responsibility. Hell we did it first game of the season when Rance was meant to be out for a month, he plays the first two games and now let’s see ...

Re: Woking (A)

Just really really frustrating seeing these results/performances against the teams we’ve played. Feels like no one is really interested in winning, probably just happy they’re all earning. Games coming thick and fast and I don’t know how we’ll have the depth, fitness, or drive to turn things around....

Re: Wealdstone (H)

Eleftheriou was superb today. I don’t really think Wealdstone turned up today looking for anything, but when they did attack he was all over it. Never liked Adams but he was good today, much less sloppy in our passing and we were winning much more in midfield. Could have done with Robinson in the sq...

Re: Barnet (H)

The mind boggles at how we manage to sign supposedly the best players from other clubs and then get this dross back. We have one of the best strikers in the league who is meant to be almost unplayable in the air yet how many crosses did we get in there tonight? Defence needs a massive shakeup too. R...

Re: Daryl McMahon

To summarise: if we keep on losing then the owners might want to sack the manager. Cheers for the insight - I think we might all know that. But as far as McMahon is concerned, we are a tad premature on the conversation. It was a shit performance but I would still rather him in charge more than anybo...

Re: Game one

Any chance of a second lockdown? That was dreadful. Why was Rance starting when yesterday we were saying he’s out for a month? Why play 3 at the back for most of pre-season just to switch to 4 at the back and then get done massively out wide? Why push our top scorer from last year as far away from t...

Re: Wealdstone Game

I hope so. It will be a great way to highlight how stupid these rules are when there will be over 100 people in a smaller indoor area watching the game, but it’s not allowed for that 100 to walk 10m outside and watch it in open air.

Re: Season to be delayed?

Anyone who thinks streaming could be the answer to generate income, then read the dilemma Colchester United owner finds his club in. Zero Income from away game streaming purchased by U’s fans. Also the bigger supported clubs earn much more than his club when they are at Home. https://www.cu-fc.com/...

Re: Daggers v Concord Rangers 22nd September 2020

I had no issue buying more than one, so worth trying again. Maybe seating is now not as openly available for larger groups, as the game is tomorrow. Or did you try the sieve as well?

Re: Squad complete?

I think Wright gets a tough time on here because of how long it’s been since we saw him play, as once McMahon came in he fell out of favour purely due to formation. He was very solid last season and if he can carry on progressing he’s a good option to have around. Saves having to sign a CB and an RB...

Re: Fans Returning to Victoria Road

1000 people to start off with is quite promising to see. You’d imagine that figure is seen as a safe one below what would actually be our capacity during COVID if this is successful. If we can get a capacity of 1500+ I really do hope that it could see our attendances increase whilst the big London t...
