Re: FGR Reaction
Unfortunately we don't have a back up to give him a rest. As much as I like Benno, that money would have been better spent on someone else who could play the full 90 minutes now and again. Benno's signing I'm afraid was an old pals act that has backfired horribly and helped no one, especially Hawki...

Re: How many points..........
Our saving grace this season is that we've turned draws into wins. You look at Barrow and see what happens if you draw too many games. I think 80-81 makes the play offs. With Barrow and Aldershot away next, we have to get a win from one of them or we'all be looking over our shoulder.

Re: FGR Reaction
Couldn't make it yesterday but sounds like a Hawkins is struggling at the mo. Possibly is carrying a knock or 2. Don't think it'd hurt to rest him up for a game or 2. Benson has enough nous to step in. Twitter seems to be suggesting we're signing Elliott Romaine from Eastbourne so maybe one ready ma...

Re: Money Bags Rovers (H)
Our struggles will continue for a few games yet. Been saying to friends for a game or two that I can see where this is going. We're going to get sucked back into the battle for 5th and then it'll be up to whether the returning lads can help give us that extra boost to squeeze in.

Re: Defensive poll
We may have won 5 in a row without Doe but it also coincided with the period where we actually got some players back in Howell, Fejiri and Guttridge whilst we also had a not banned Whiteley. Our first defeat came with the Whitely sending off and we've been on the back foot ever since. I think people...

Re: Billericay Watch
I'd rather it be on here. We were very close to being taken over by this man so it's intriguing to see what he's doing now he's in charge of a team. I will happily hand my hands up and say that Tamplin sold me to an extent with a good interview or two that he did as the takeover was nearing. I'm now...

Re: Bromley
Thought Benson also helped as he moves more than Hawkins and has a bit more nous. Benson was excellent. Hawkins was struggling for most of that 2nd half but Benson really came on and took the fight to them. His awareness is excellent and that's one aspect Ollie needs to work on a bit. Think Benno c...

Re: Bromley
Still was right to bring the young lad off at half time Saturday but I don't think we can write him off yet. Not easy playing your first game in CM when you've only just joined and with a man less to boot. I didn't think he disgraced himself yet we perhaps needed Donnelan to come and add a bit more...

Re: Penalties again
I'd love to know our penalty record over the last few years. Feels like we miss more than we score.

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
Agree a lot with Lee here that it'll be a lot more difficult than the league table suggests. However, these are the games we have to win in order to keep the pressure on Lincoln which should be the aim at the moment. It'll be hard to change a winning team however does anyone know the whereabouts of...

Re: Next up... Guiseley AFC
To give Guiseley some credit, they're a much better side than the one which lost their first 7 games. Says a lot that their record since then is won 8, drawn 8 and lost 9. Mid table form really. They've only lost 2 of their last ten with 4 wins (2 of which came against Lincoln and Macclesfield) and ...

Re: Chester
Was very impressed with their 9. Amazed he's playing for them tbh. Alabi won't be at Chester for much longer. Might be being ambitious but he's someone I wouldn't mind us going for if we go up and eventually lose Hawkins. Looked a handful. Thought Chester were a good side but then that result kind ...

Re: Tranmere
There will be a lot of ups and downs. Only a few weeks ago, many on here were predicting mid table woe after a poor run despite all the injuries. Now, we've got a great chance of the league.
It could go either way. There'll be good and bad days. Let's enjoy the ride.

Re: Bromley (H)
Be interesting to see how the defence and CM areas line up. What combination at the back out of Doe, Staunton, Robson and Donnellan. Also, I assume Boucaud will come back in but will Raymond partner him or will one of the ball playing CBs go alongside him in midfield?
