Won the conference to gain promotion to the football league for the first time after beating aldershot 2-1. Must of been great times going to games.

We had an incredible team back then.

Yes they were an exceptional team that was patiently built over time. Young, hungry players were nurtured, allowed to make mistakes and allowed to learn and improve. There was also some old experienced heads in key positions.

We can only hope that the new owners adopt a similar attitude to developing long term success.
