Views from the Sieve

This time 25 years ago many of us were arriving in a certain corner of South East London!!

Cannot believe it’s that long ago since that great occasion and to be honest it’s made me feel more than a little old!!

Also made me feel a little sad with where we are now. That day was a springboard for 10 years of upward trajectory, but the 15 since have been the opposite unfortunately.

Back from a time when it was an absolute pleasure to support this club and every game, even the defeats, gave some enjoyment.

An absolutely unforgettable brilliant game to be at, we narrowly lost the televised replay but the atmosphere and support at both games was incredible.
