I can’t be there again today, but you all know what to do.

A great shame we are without Andy Carroll against a team that haven’t lost too many times this season. Should be a decent crowd and hope that we can get a win but not going to be easy.

I believe we have the players that are capable of winning today but unfortunately I don’t think they have the managerial structure to format the necessary tactics, also a few ex daggers who will no doubt want to have something to say on the pitch.

Well Hornchurch turned up and did exactly what we all thought they would do — served Darryl McMahon slop which was not impressive at either end, yet somehow dismantled us. What a dark day for the club. Playing Hornchurch in a league fixture is bad enough, losing like that is awful.

A year ago today the club took the spineless decision to sack Strevs, whether the decision itself was right or wrong is neither here nor there. But what has followed since has been unforgivable at best. Imagine saying to yourself after that Braintree game that in a years time you’d be in the NLS losing to Hornchurch after a Josh Rees goal… You’d be in sheer disbelief. But that is what Thompson, Underdog, Young, Bradbury and a heap of useless players have turned a nightmare prospect into a stark reality.

As for the fans, I’m not even sure if they deserve better. Celebrating a draw like that with smoke bombs (before we inevitably threw it away), blaming all of our terrible play on the referee, and booing players like Westy and Balanta who were great servants to us. Stupidity all around for a club that has made stupidity its hallmark.

However, I guess at least Bradbury had that unbeaten run against the likes of Chippenham, Slough, Tilbury and Chesham. We can look forward to seeing his incredible results continue for the rest of the season — all in anticipation of this “takeover” completing after 6 months of bollocks being fed to the fans. Happy Christmas.

Just about sums it up. Worst thing is the lack of communication and being treated as fools. Been an abysmal year and today was just another dark day.

Summed up superbly, the senior players in our side like Maghoma and Dieng are useless they can jog right on. We took off our best player in Young’s which sums up this useless manager. 7 wins in half a season is a disgrace, but of course he cannot be sacked because we’re a club drifting and the only way is down, not out of relegation trouble as we all know without Carroll we have nothing. Sack the lot of them.

I’m looking forward to hearing what Bradbury says in his post match interview, no doubt we were unlucky!
In reality we were second best to a team of old men and average nls players, difference being that they tried, never gave us a sniff in midfield, and when we did somehow get it back to 2-2 he played his master stroke taking off a striker replacing him with a below average defender and parking the bus, it was plain to see that that set up was going to cost us the game and it did, unbelievably poor performance by us today and once again letting the fans down against local rivals. Bradbury out :banghead:

thought they had 1 or 2 ex daggers, but blimey seen like they had loads out there today, talk about get the band back together, they would have got us into league 2 any other season, such a shame we were up against wrexham, notts county, stockport at the time.

too naive at times, experience got hornchurch over the line.

Very disappointing to come back from two down to then lose to a very late goal.
Must say that in the first half thought our defence looked wide open when Hornchurch attacked. Obviously missed Andy Carroll up front although Stan Leech did a reasonable job as his replacement and scored another goal.
