Well looking at the stats on Flashscore.com it seems that was a snooze fest.

I’m amazed that we didn’t lose that!
Once Carroll went off injured we had no game plan, still hoofed it forward without anyone capable of getting on the end of it, slough missed a few very good chances so we were lucky there, there player’s looked hungry for the ball while we wandered around aimlessly. As for Sidwell being man of the match… who decided that? His mum!

Andy is in a boot and on crutches waiting for an x-ray. Not good to hear, but that is what I heard on Bradbury's post game comments.

That was not good to hear.

A game with chances for both teams but as already said could have easily lost the game as well, in fact a couple of months ago would have ended in a loss for us.
It is a big concern Andy Carroll getting injured but will have to hope that not too serious.

We all should have been prepared for our season being defined by when Carroll is and isn’t fit, and we have done well with his fitness so far this season. It’s worrying though that we just do not have a plan B for when he is out, poor Stephenson & De Silva having to deal with long balls against those man mountains was a joke. Unfortunately the fact is Bradbury has a built a squad that he doesn’t know how to play with, aside from one player. Hemmings has to be recalled and also we have to dip into the loan market if this is a long term issue. Shame we have no money to spend though as this takeover is a load of hot air.

As for the match, not a great performance for anyone aside from the big lad in goal. Wasn’t convinced by him when he signed, and he certainly can’t distribute it well. But he’s made some huge, match defining saves for us. Robbed of the man of the match decision.

Can’t recall a 28 day loan, also let’s not forget Hemmings was frozen out and would the current owners want to call the loan off knowing that will cost them money? Nope.

Until the ownership is sorted out there is nothing major that can be done to the squad. Just glad we now have a few points on the board as I’m sure we will start to slip down again without a game plan. Having Wilson and Carroll as your main strikers this season was always going to end in tears.

Does anyone know the extent of Wilson's injury and how long he is likely to be out of action?
