Keeper has to be dropped. nightmare pre-season shipped in something like 15 goals I think.
at fault at ebsfleet first goal went through him, shot from a tight angle where cousins easily saved a similar shot same game, not tested at salisbury but back to normal today.
Heard from a few people he is way too slow at diving, see that again from first goal today, 30 yard shot not even in the corner, moved way too slow, second one he pushed it in his own net.

We're in serious trouble of going down again I'm afraid.
We can't defend for shite our midfield is pony and up front we're lightweight to say the least.
Going to be a long hard season folks.

I know it's probably nit picking, but there was a moment at Salisbury where Howes was huge favourite to smother a loose ball but took so long to get down that the striker nearly nicked it. He seems really stiff and unable to get down to the ball quickly.
I haven't seen tonight's goals so will reserve judgement. I don't get the criticism for Ebbsfleet, particularly as he made a very good one on one save after Panter dropped him in it.
I would also point out that these same criticisms were levelled at Justham in his first season and he was even eventually dropped. Willing to give him more time.
As for the manager, I do think the "new team" excuse is rubbish. Loads of sides at this level have signed 8, 10, 12 players and are having no such problems. The injury excuse is probably fair enough as we have zero midfield and no target man. But you could also say it's a failure of recruitment, particularly with the injury records of the players, and the fact we let Umerah go without any replacement, and yet again a big hole in the left back area.

I think the concerns have been there since the 1st Pre season game.
We dont look physical/fit enough compared to other teams I have seen.
Howes does not inspire confidence, he seems very lightweight and seems to have a habit of punching the ball upwards instead of away from goal.
Cant say I have been impressed by Panter, looks a very poor player.
Thats before starting on the midfield.
Last night on multiple occasions we got caught with both Khaleel and Harrack ahead of the ball, and just got played through. In the first half that lead to the midfielder having the time to shoot for the first goal. Marsh is probably a nailed on starter when fit, but personally dont think any of our other options are good enough, Harrack, Khaleel, N'Guessan are poor players. Tonbridge's 3 who scored is the type of player we need who can knock the ball around.
Was fairly optimistic given what Bradbury has achieved previously, but must admit we do look a complete mess at the moment.

Kahleel is not a centre midfielder, playing him there last night was negligent from Bradbury. With Wilson now iout with a waiting to happen Hamstring injury he might have to play Kahleel in the right position, putting square pegs in round holes never works, see last season for that.
We need a target man plain and simple, and a fit centre midfielder to run the ship, clearly the ones we have are not physically up to the challenge of regional pub football.
What a shambles so early on, a half decent side would have nicked at least 1 win.
Taylorball 2.

We spend so much time pumping the ball high up to Wilson who doesn’t even attempt to jump and try to head it, he also gave away so many fouls. I have been saying for a while with Andy Carroll out we need another forward that can at least hold the ball up.
With regard to midfield at the moment we seem very lightweight and need more grit and determination in getting the ball from the opposition rather than standing off of them. Generally as a team we need to press their defenders and goal keeper when they are tippy tapping the ball from a goal kick inside the penalty area.
We have injuries at the moment but cannot unfortunately see us winning many games with the players and system that we have until we get these players back.
This would therefore mean that we would be so far back in the league it would be difficult to catch the leaders up.

Everyone who actually went to Aveley first up this pre season saw this coming in against a team who has just been relegated from this league, had a brand new manager and a new squad but ran us ragged... The recruitment, the team formation, the players in their curious positions, all because of recruiting injury prone players for another year who are injured when the season starts... The club circus continues and hearing some people on social media talk about how good we will be with Dieng, Marsh, Carroll, Maghoma and others for is borderline insane when we knew the chances of getting a 'best XI' out this season with those recruited was negligible.
There won't be five teams worse than Tonbridge at the end of the season and won't be seven to ten worse than Salisbury... Disgusting start from the team
