Views from the Sieve

As I hadn't heard anything regarding my ticket that I had ordered I phoned the club yesterday and was told that they are expecting them in on Monday.
Once this is confirmed they should let us know the collection arrangements.

We have just received our season tickets through the post this morning.

That's good, I opted to collect instead of being posted because I don't normally have a lot of trust in Royal Mail.
Hopefully can collect from the club next week.

Have just spoken to club and they have now received them. It seems that you can collect your season ticket card from the Ticket Office either Thurs between 2-5pm or Fri 3-6pm.
I assume if that's not convenient for you before the game would also be available.

Its about time they notified all of us who have requested cards. These should have been available at least a week ago. There will be people who can't get there on the relevant days to collect them and next the club will be complaining that the shop is choc-a-bloc with people trying to collect cards on Saturday.

Another glorious PR failure. Hopefully the new owners will do something about this long-running theme. If we ever find out who they are!

I totally agree with the points you have made.
I think the biggest error was assuming it would suit everyone to have their season ticket direct on to a mobile phone wallet. You have only got to look at the average age of those in the seats to see there might be an issue.
In view of all this, once the club realised the discontent amongst supporters it was always going to be catch up in sorting this out.
As you say hopefully lessons have been learnt.
