Has departed. Huge shame. I'd hoped he would be named captain.

Proper football player. Screamed future daggers captain. Once a dagger always a dagger.

Why would he stay, he's seen how awful it's been, all his mates have gone and I'm sure he's better than this league.
Good luck to him, hope he pushes on somewhere better.

If we can’t get Phippsy to stay, who is Dagenham through and through, then ****** knows how we’d expect to keep hold of Hilly, Rutherford, or anyone else on our books worth a damn. A massive disappointment and it’s unforgivable that the club is in a position where it’s possible for us to lose someone like that. Definitely should have been captain

It gets worse we’re now losing out on signings to Chelmsford, Hornchurch and Ebbsfleet. Going to be another long season for us, clearly change of ownership at this stage is a nightmare for any manager.

Disappointing to see Phipps leave but I’m sure everyone wishes him well, was a big presence for us and as a stand in striker a while ago added a different dimension to his game, had a few off days as most players did but he always gave 100%. Good luck Harry

Possibly not reading stuff online correctly but any suggestion where Phipps has gone?

As I've already said, good luck to him. But we needed a complete clearout. Everyone left over from last season failed us didn't they ? Ok some individuals put in better shifts than others but they never had the minerals to keep us up at Solihull.
Stand out player for me was Rees and I had a soft spot for Lingy and Phipps but that's about all. Who else did anything really? We got relegated cos we were shit.
Yeah big clearout, start again.

Seen a lot of reactions like this. What did you expect ? He’d sign on in the NLS because he loves the club ?
Do me a favour. We got relegated. We should be grateful he even considered our offer, whatever it was.
Sutton a much better proposition. Club + fans need to take their medicine imo. If Hill decides to stay then it’s a cop out on his behalf - he could cut it in the NL, he owes us nothing and he deserves to be there.

Hill can’t cut in the NL, he proved that last season as did many others. Glad we’re having a if clearout as Arnu said, no ready made excuses from the manager.

My take is - if you expect ANY remotely good players to stay with the club as we move down to ******** regional football - then you’re way off base. You should be happy for the players that they get to leave this shit show and sign for team in the division above where we currently are (national league SOUTH - as in so shit that team from the north can’t be bothered to play us).
DTD sorry to disagree but Hill has shown More than enough to stay at that level at least as a squad player. He’s not a world beater by any means but he deserves substantially better than having to play against Chesham and Hemel Hempstead
