The fact that he plays for us doesn't mean I'm going to blindly defend or support him. That kind of thinking is exactly why so many Liverpool fans stood by Luis Suarez after his indiscretions.

You would like to hope the evidence provided was compelling and concrete enough in proving his guilt.
