Given he had a known problem and we were giving him a chance, there has to be a clause in his contract about this sort of thing surely?

The club wouldn't have missed somethin like that would they?

I find it odd we were still playing him in teh side when this was hanging over, somewhat weakens the club's position.

That's exactly why on Labadie's second bite he has a 6 month ban but on Suarez third bite he got a 4 month ban. Money.

Or it could be that Suarez was punished by 3 different bodies, while Labadie has been punished twice by the same body.
For both players, the first punishment by the English FA was the same.

If another player is ever stupid/screwed up enough to be punished by the English FA for biting twice and didn't get the same punishments, then there would be a fair comparison. At the moment there isn't.

I suppose that's reasonable. We just need a biter now then.

Funny thing is if he did it on the street instead of the pitch he'd probably get a suspended sentence or something along those lines.
