They have the right to moan. But it's hardly unusual for a business to offer a deal to attract new customers.

You pay the price on offer at the time if it works for you. If a discount happens later that's just how it goes. I think it's a good move.

Thought this was funny maybe we should have made the offer to the Gooners

1300 home fans today. Did this really work? What has our average been so far?

It's a good idea and should extend to all London clubs, and the moaners should buy a season ticket then it'd be £8.65 a game.

Bet we had hardly anyone take this offer up. Attendance was about normal for a non premier league Saturday.

Quite a few west ham shirts in the ground today. Even if only 10 people took the offer up they'd have seen enough today to come again I'm sure. West Ham can't buy a win right now and even at £15 it's not an expensive day out. If we'd have lost 5-0 like last year they may not bother coming back. My first ever daggers game was a defeat. I liked the atmosphere and the cost especially as I was paying for 2 kids at West Ham as well. Well over a 1'er a game plus program and burgers ( I'd have a salad of course). Today cost me 2 x £ 8.65 and it was my go to buy pie and mash so another tenner. Paid up season tickets in May so £10 and a 3-1 home win.

Don't get why some people are so keen for this initiative to fail.

If the offer was all teams, i would have come.
But sod paying £15/20 to watch a conference game. I pay that much for half of the away gmes I do in the chanpionship.
That ain't gonna be popular but that's how it is.
The offer should have been to ALL season ticket holders of premier league and championship.

I dont think it did fail though.
Remember thinking towards the start of the game that it felt ever so slightly busier in the ground, especially behind the bury rd goal.
A quick check showed we had a home crowd V Bromley of 1256
Yet V Gateshead we had 1337
I think next time we could perhaps open it to season ticket holders of all clubs but mevertheless I think its a great idea.

What else can you get for £15 ? Does anyone think that£15 is still a lot of money ? All this moaning about £15 tickets yet everyone probably got a £500 phone they play with through out the game. Buy an early bird season ticket then it works out £8.65 a game if you stand. You can miss 10 games and you'd still have only paid £15 per game for the ones you do attend.

Bang on Arnu - its ridiculous!
£15 for a terrace ticket isnt bad at all and about average for this league. I swear you could drop 1 or 2 levels and still get charged a tenner.

Hornchurch - Bostik North £10
Barking - Bostik North £8.50
Romford - Bostik North £8
Thurrock - Bostik Prem £10
Chelmsford - National South £13
Leyton Orient - (cheapest tickets) £18 or £16 in advance
I think that all confirms our £15 on the day price is very reasonable.

I don't think anyone was keen for it to fail and it's quite silly to think that. This was a great idea that just didn't quite have the right execution and that's understandably disappointing for many to see. I'm sure the next international break we'll do this again with maybe other London clubs involved and hopefully advertised where the Dagenham-oblivious will hear about it better.

Leyton Orient did it yesterday, any supporter of a premier league London club, show their season ticket get in for a fiver.
We were not the only ones.
