Pitch looks great from a distance but there's a few patches where the grass isn't that thick or healthy and it is a bit dry as Mike says.

Were the previous ground staff sacked purely for pitch quality?

From the back of the TBS the pitch is not very good bare patches all over the place, will only get worse.

Rumour has it the previous groundsman was already on a few warnings. Nothing to do with the pitch.

Apparently the previous groundman was slung out by Tamplin as he backed the Easts' bid. Now he can't pay his mortgage... disgusting

I do hope this was meant with sarcasm and irony?

Otherwise yet again it's people posting unlikely rumours and then moaning at Tamplin for it.
