This is the result of a lot of hard work by many people and will provide real impetus going forward. Nothing is ever guaranteed in football but I believe all those involved- and more details of investors will be forthcoming over the next couple of weeks- have the club close to their hearts, most with local connections, and have worked with Anwar to achieve this. There is no reason to pour cold water on this development and we should support it to the hilt.

I am glad to see some positive thoughts. I have not been a fan long enough to have all the history of having things not work out. But it seems some people are in place that have a history with the club and have moved the needle in the right direction while with the club.Pablo wrote: Tue Feb 17, 2026 5:33 pm This is the result of a lot of hard work by many people and will provide real impetus going forward. My initial thought of this person being well financed may or may not be true and what really matters is if he has money left over to sign the right players to move us up. But I am just glad something is settled and at least some of the fans are staying positive until there is a reason to NOT be positive.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.
My comments may not be positive and with good reason, the last two owners have been established sports owners with many years of experience running football and other professional sports and they couldn’t run the club properly, we have just seen a completely new company formed with very little information on who they are other than a commercial director named as the only member of the board and zero information about “happy fan” as a company. Following the last two owners I’m not going to get all excited about this until everything is clear and investors named, so that’s why I’m not feeling positive, and don’t forget that Mr Grabovski was Allegedly the member of club underdog who stood on the pitch facing the sieve with serrys mates saying don’t worry about these people when the shit hit the fan about the online abuse of Israel, so I think I have good reason to be sceptical.
My view is that the first positive thing is that we have now got rid of Club Underdog and been taken over by a new consortium as everyone has been demanding for months.
It is a fact the club have been in limbo and completely rudderless all season. The previous owners it is true, had experience of running football and sporting clubs but not in this country, whereas we have Anwar as Chairman who has lots of experience of football at this level and particularly fond of this club.
We do not know yet who else is involved in the Consortium but hope that they have the financial clout and ambition and drive to move the club forward.
It is also true that unless you get the ridiculously huge financial backing of Wrexham there is no guarantee in football that whoever takes over our club that it will be a success.
What I do know however, is that I feel a lot more confident now than I did 48 hours ago.

Obviously there is more to find out and it is to be expected that after the experience of the past few years some skepticism is not unjustified . However I agree with with Pablo and Len that it should be seen as positive though not necessarily a guarantee of success on the pitch. Cautious optimism.
