Another game that we should win but as we know things with the Daggers are never that simple. I feel more confident since signing Oteh and Connolly that we have a lot more competition up front to trouble defences.
I would also hope that Rashawn Scott plays a part today because he was outstanding when he came on last week and helped to turn the game.

Howes will be in goal. I believe suspensions in this level start from a week when the incident took place.BB-Dagger wrote: Sat Feb 14, 2026 12:34 pm Our main issue today is between the sticks, haven’t seen anything on a loan signing yet, if nightingale is in goal Im not feeling too confident on a positive result, don’t get me wrong I sincerely hope he has a blinder but I doubt it
What a underwhelming display of football we experienced today, once again a professional team outworked and almost undone at times by a group of plumbers, gas fitters and van drivers not helped by a referee who astoundingly didn’t send off Baths number 3 Greenslade for openly kicking a player on the ground after the free kick was given! That and a few more decisions to ignore constant late tackles/ fouls by the number 22.
Given that Howe made a couple of outstanding last ditch saves today what are the chances of us getting any kind of result in our next three fixtures?

Yep a fairly ugly win. No real control of the game at any point really, but goal out of nowhere really with one moment of quality wins it. Had Bath had any cutting edge they might well of won. On a positive note other than the actual three points I thought Haigh was good, as was Young when he came on. Centre halves pretty solid.
Now the SE27 Dagger
Very fortunate to win the game. It didn't work having Connolly and Leech up front together as too similar in style. Bath totally bossed the midfield area and Haigh rightly awarded man of match.
A win is a win but negative tactics have cost us dearly this season and likely to cost us in remaining games as well and are certainly frustrating and very tedious to watch.

Not the prettiest of games but I think credit needs to be given to Bath who might consider themselves hard done by not to get a draw. I think we just about deserved the win.
Our league form is good 4 wins, a draw and one loss ( against Ebbsfleet) in the last 6 matches and only bettered by the league leaders Dorking. Need to pick up
away points over the next 3 games to stay with a slightest sniff of playoffs.
