Just checked my emails and just realised I've been kicked out of my season ticket seat in the SD Samuals stand and had a terrace ticket sent to me.
Ebbsfleet are having the whole stand wow. I thought they only brought about 140 last season. With it being 6 weeks holiday with lots of people away and in general football crowds are low in August. I doubt they will bring much more this time round.

Should be soft segregated like every time we’ve played them, if that’s the clubs stance there will be another 5/6 games like that this season. Guess the real problem is the family section but they could have easily been moved to the bar end. Same sh!t different owners.

Those seats are reserved for away fans too but Ebbslfeet clearly think they’ll bring more than 300 that would have been available, don’t see it myself.
Forcing families with small kids to go into the terrace is poor from the club, big rethink required.

Could have given them the family stand. Our club is so tinpot at times
As I understand it, blocks 7 and 8 of the SDS are the new family stand. Blocks 1, 2 and 3 are season tickets. Then the Choice Training (old family stand) is now for away fans.
A few solutions to this situation:
1. Make it all-ticket for away fans and make them prove they can sell out the original allocation before making our ST holders move.
2. If Ebbsfleet require more space, move our fans from block 1 and 2 to block 5 and 6 and stick their additional people in the corner. But only open this after the Choice Training is sold out.
3. Permanently make blocks 4, 5 and 6 the season ticket blocks, then you've always got block 1 and 2 as a spare for additional away fans with block 3 as no mans land.

They were given the old family stand. That's the normal place for away fans now.Ally Fraser wrote: Tue Aug 05, 2025 8:25 am Could have given them the family stand. Our club is so tinpot at times
I'm not convinced that Ebbsfleet will be bringing much more than the 300 or so that would fit in there anyway.
However the possibility of season ticket holders being moved onto the terrace in these circumstances was explained in the original blurb for season tickets and is the reason why season tickets for the Samuels stand were the same price as those for the terrace.
I'm not sure that's too much help to those physically unable to stand for 90 minutes but I imagine the answer would be "should have bought a full price seat in the south stand"
Your a hard person but probably correct!Dagger59 wrote: Tue Aug 05, 2025 2:00 pmThey were given the old family stand. That's the normal place for away fans now.Ally Fraser wrote: Tue Aug 05, 2025 8:25 am Could have given them the family stand. Our club is so tinpot at times

Seated match tickets are the same price Carling or SDS, seated season ticket holders should be offered a seat or Terrace, this should have been made clear to south stand season ticket holders.
What a mess, glad I didn’t renew.

Our club can’t even organise 6th division regional level football without upsetting their fans.
