Is anyone else finding they are missing more games than usual because the fixtures in recent years have turned to two homes, then two aways, rather than alternate home, away?

I should have only missed 2 home games, but because of the way the fixtures fall, I have already missed 4. (Yes, and I've missed 16 goals for, 3 against - perhaps I should stay away).

Am I the only one who is affected like this? I'd be interested to hear from others.

I've also thought 2 away games on the trot must be hurting away attendances. Any thoughts?

I originally thought being non League the rulers of it took into consideration of the fans efforts on attending short or long haul trips and juggled it to suit days especially midweek but sadly those days have well seemed to disappeared? Is it money again? Just one example how can you do a long away to Teeside and Hartlepool on a Saturday and two days later over in Altrincham on a Tuesday? What a strain on the pocket! And looking other games elsewhere for other teams its lets say quite popular? Surely it can effect the team, remember 7 of us up at Alty a couple of seasons back midweek, probably understand if there's a fixture pile up latter season but surely its non considerate to the fans and more importantly whys it gone like this? 3 weeks away from home now albeit the Cup game draw could have gone the other way but could anyone from above explain to us why?
