Big game for them and for some of our squad who need to impress the manager, very weak bench can’t even name a bench full of outfield players so have the young keeper on it.

I understand the need to try out some things, but this is just one big piss take. Fans are having their noses rubbed in it through Thompson's incompetence. We keep a tosspot of a manager on way beyond, when clearly he couldn't do the job required, sell off what isn't nailed down and have the audacity to expect fans to travel home and away to support a team held together with sellotape!!!

Papering over some very large cracks, that won't be properly filled in untill the gullible yanks start listening to the fans instead of being drip fed Thompson's bollocks.

Great result but very poor performance, some are running on empty but that won’t change anytime soon. Just hope we get some momentum into next season in this last month.
Great comeback & top effort from the depleted numbers in the squad - alongside a cracking 11th hour winner..!! 
That said..it was achieved despite the past several years of financial mis-management from Steve Thompson, alongside the piddling down the drain of 3 years worth of budget from Daryl McMahon.
The American owners need their own representative to be actively involved in running the club - no successful organisation relies solely on a single employee.

What a day. We've now come from behind to win three times in the past month compared to only once beforehand. Notwithstanding the remarkably poor opposition, we refused to feel sorry for ourselves and found a way despite what was a very poor performance otherwise devoid of opportunities.
Buzzing for Strevens to get his first win in such fashion, and for the man he's placed most faith in too, Josh Strizovic.

Torquay are absolutely doomed if they're losing that game. Won't have a better chance to win all season.
Very poor performance from us but I suppose you have to admire the ability to stay alive in the game and then take the chances that fell our way. We do look a bit lost with 2 in the midfield against 3 but prefer that to the 352 nonsense we've had for the last few years. It's much harder to get behind us and get crosses into our box.
Ibie did well, must be in line for a start Tuesday.

Exactly one month since his iconic winner at Notts County, Inih Effiong produced more late heroics with almost the last kick of the game at 90+5 to secure a beautiful first win under Ben Strevens, at the expense of a dismal Torquay.
