Anyone watching this. There is a VERY small connection to my hometown of Greensboro, NC over here on this side of the pond.
Episode 2 showed the 1-1 draw with the Daggers at the end of the 2020-2021 season.

Iv seen them and I'm not sure how I'd feel about having them as owners, great financially and they look like they care but they are realising how hard it is to get out of the NL and that means they lose tons of cash every season they fail to go up which would worry me as to if they would stick with it in the long run, kind of how we feel with our owners though I guess.

Or in Dagenhams case, Terribly!

The owners person of contact in Wrexham wears a lot of US minor-league baseball caps and the connection to my hometown is that one time this person is wearing a Greensboro Grasshoppers team cap. Only for a few seconds in one or two scenes but recognizable by me.
