There were things going on yesterday all over the pitch that you would not have got away with last season. The game was allowed to flow and tackles allowed to be made .

When you have Paul McCullum as your main striker if this is the way games are going to be officiated then it bodes very well for us. Last season he was continually pulled up by Referees everytime it seemed he went near an opponent.

Last year, yesterday's game would have been a stop start game, hopefully the attitude of yesterday's Refereee will become the norm

Absolute good point there and why yesterday's game was so free flowing and a joy to watch, have been saying it for years 'modern' day refs perhaps to be fair have the establishment over their shoulders but that guy in black changed the format somewhat and hope many more may now follow, of course County fans are giving him the bird post match especially over our free kick but fair play to Rusk saying its not even a talking point we were beaten by a very good side, our boys were so solid at the back quite liked Joey Jones in that centre, we moved it well in midfield and we broke their lines superbly and took so many chances, could easily have been five other than two great clinical saves by Hinchliffe, do we not recall we must have had four or five corners straight off in that 2nd half period don't think ever seen that before? Early days I know but that was so good and surely a stepping stone now!
