The new ground's site must be very near to the Barking and Dagenham/Havering boundary and not far from Redbridge. Bang in the middle of DRFC's potential catchment area.

Can’t really see it turning into a rivalry as there is absolutely 0 chance of them being in the same league as us ever. Even if we keep Taylor as our manager for the next 19 years. We all know he won’t be there in 2 years anyway.

The big problem though is that they are close enough and a big enough circus to get some
of the sponsorship and advertisers that might have come our way. They may not affect us attendance wise, but could affect us financially.

They’ve just signed a deal with The Brewery Romford, for instance. That would have been a good advertising target for us.
