After a number of tweaks I've finally completed our Save The Daggers crowdfunding page.
https://uk.gofundme.com/save-the-daggers
Now I guess it will just need a real concerted effort from everyone to share this to as many platforms as possible, Facebook, Twitter, other club's forums, and basically anywhere you can think of.
E-mail or whatsapp the link to friends, family and colleagues not on Social Media! Anything is worth a try.
Hopefully some people with previous or current affiliations with the club will see it and dig deep for the cause.
It's a big target but anything is possible I guess!
Share away folks!

For this to be a serious effort, will it not need at least a group of people, with perhaps some sort of official backing, just so there is a paper trail?
Do agree with this. Ultimately with the way crowdfunding works, if you want to raise funds for someone else you will need some form of public endorsement from them or people just won’t trust you. Would imagine that there are lots of chancers using these things to scam people.rebeldagger wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 5:53 pm For this to be a serious effort, will it not need at least a group of people, with perhaps some sort of official backing, just so there is a paper trail?
Hopefully something as simple as the Supporter’s Club getting on board should do the trick. The club hopefully won’t be too proud to get on board with this however, crowdfunding has proved itself to be really powerful in the past.

This can now go live and the initial post is updated to include the link.
This is now being run in conjunction with the supporters club and the logo is updated accordingly.
Lets get this out there and hope and pray as many people can support it / us.

Thanks Andy, thats a great gesture, and same to the other few people that have donated too so far!
Got some other plans being considered for things that can run alongside the Crowdfund.

It's a brilliant response and I'd expect more to come in this week, particularly as for some it's likely to be pay day at the end of the month.Daggernewbie wrote: ↑Sat Mar 24, 2018 7:31 pm Well done to all those who have so far donated to the save the daggers gofundme raiser. £320 raised so far

Cmon guys 13 donations and £350 if we get 30 donations at a similar rate we will have £1k.
How can a small Isthmian League club also deep in financial trouble with no football league history or FA Cup success and with a much smaller fan base than the Daggers be beating us hands down on the fundraiser stakes? https://uk.gofundme.com/save-lowestoft-town-fc

£350 is an excellent return from just 13 people but to have just 13 after a few days is kinda disappointing.
Will keep plugging away and trying to promote the cause but frankly it is what it is and no-one can be forced to donate.
Will have a look at the Lowestoft page and see if theres anything that can be followed / copied to help.
