I'm not a dyed in the wool, man and boy dagger by any stretch of the imagination. But even I can see how much the club means to him. Unfortunately at this level you don't get paid fortunes and if that wageis then looking a bit suspect and you've got a family you're gonna have to go where the money. Its not like campbell hoodwinking the angry lot from down the lane that he's gonna sign a new deal and then leaving on free to their most hated rivals with a juicy signing on bonus to boot.

Whenever it's looked like a firm I work for might mot be able to pay me I've left. Just the reality of football at this level!

Disappointing thing is we agreed he could go by mutual consent to sort out his self inflicted personal problems, probably could have got a fee for him even if it was minimal. Club is desperate at present.

Just lost his legend status by taking complete advantage after the club really stood by him. Legend to Tosser in the space of a week. He hopes we don't play Billericay any time soon.

Anyone that's been to the training ground at May & Baker will have seen lots of notices up in the gym and/or physio room about players needing to book themselves in for if they need to, all the equipment's set up there too.

We had a threat of legal action this morning about comments made in this thread and allegations that were made. As a result we’ve had to edit a number of posts.
