I finally listened to this all the way through.
Borrowing money for whatever reason at this stage should be of concern.
I think I read on twitter the fans are trying to set up a supporters trust. I'm guessing the genuine Billericay fans are trying to prepare for what some of us think is inevitable.

The classic mistake by people who want to take a short cut to success in football
Buying a broken down version of the player he used to be and expecting him to find lower division football like a veteran's friendly league
The exact opposite is the reality
These guys usually end up spending most of the time injured or recovering from injury
I guess he'll be on a relatively long contract too
