What a player!
Only 4 goals away from top scorer at the age of 39. Incredible

I hope he's with us next season, the youngsters in the team can learn a lot from him. A very clever striker and tireless worker. Just goes to show if you look after yourself and work hard you can reap the rewards. Well done JC.

Crazy if he retires knowing what he has done this year. Him starting May depend on the manager situation though

We must keep JC for at least another season

Think it's a must that we have to keep him next season. Perhaps we could tempt him with a performance related contract aka Hines.
Anybody know how Paul Benson is doing with his leg, now him and Jamie Cureton may shift a few season tickets, was not so long ago they were doing it at Cheltenham was it.
Just a romantic thought

He's definitely looking to carry on for at least another season, so hopefully we can hold on to him. Now if Hines can get himself fit again for next season, then our immediate future may not be as bleak as so many fear?

He'd be like Vialli but better.

Blimey... Jones would have a field day integrating in to the team next year if he got to start with Hines, Cureton and Benson asking side him...
Next you will be telling me Ayo will still be with us next season! Or that Batt has packed in pro football

Bloody hell benno and jamie, that'd be a combined age of what, 75 next season? and still a shitload better than most of the other dreck we've had through these gates.

Would definitely have Benson back. That sort of experience is invaluable as Cureton has proved this season. From watching him last night, he still has the knack of being able to hold the ball up and get between the lines. Not sure he's your 20 goal a season man anymore mind but imagine needing a goal late on and needing the ball to stick up front. Sorted.

Now that is really stretching your imagination! :(

A fit JC almost guarantees 15-20 goals a season. That should be enough to survive in itself. If we actually used him better instead of smashing it miles up in the air, he might start thinking about the 300 goal target!
