So if they need to make an appointment, will the Club go for something different??
Ted Hardy - He has done it before, undoubted passion for the club, fighting spirit, local knowledge
Garry Hill - did good job before, doing good job at Woking, mixed record elsewhere, to much history??
Neil Warnock - Experience at all levels, proven record in lower leagues, fighting spirit, character, available
Tony Pullis - See above
Sven Goran Erikson - Enjoyed his roast beef dinner in 2011, international contacts, charismatic
Alan Curbishley - Is 16-1 for every job so will surely be on list for ours if it becomes available, will he leave Sarah Jane Mee on a Saturday??
Steve Evans - Rumoured to be on brink at Rotherham, would he be welcome, proven record at all levels, fighting spirit
Paul Ince - Local lad, got Macc out of bigger mess, available
Sir Dave Brailsford - Rumoured to be looking beyond cycling, top class pedigree, would bring good exposure
Hope Powell - Has happened in France why not in Dagenham??

Ted is unfortunately too old and his health isnt great as I understand - would otherwise have him back like a shot.
Garry Hill.... a tough one - as discussed with Steve W yesterday, Garry does offer and would get so many of the things our current team need in terms of man management and getting the most out of them. I just cant help but think back to the absolute mess he left us in last time and for that reason I don't he should be considered. I'd never say never but not now!

Whilst a very unpopular man with the older fans on here you could do worse than Steve Evans ? It would be like when Arsenal legend George Graham when he went to Spurs as manager im sure but if he were to sort us out id be ok with it.We need a good one if we want to carry on and do better than bottom half finishes and relegation dogfights every year.

What about Billy McEwen? Always popular with the Dagenham fans.

You always did have a strange sense of humour Don. Next Burnside will be on suggesting Dave Cussack.

Evans has only bed a success at the drums he has rolled into for one reason he was given money something won't get here.

Can't disagree with that... quite certain we would get a decent level of paplicant in if, theoretically, Wayne left today... but anyone with success (even at League Two level) who has only worked with teams on big budgets isn't what we need... that will surely involve more players of an Agyemang ilk coming in and will lose any progress we may currently have developing our own youngsters

We won't be able to afford to run the academy if we drop out of the league as we will lose football league money that is given to is to run it.

Indeed. Wayne was big on getting the academy set up and all credit to him but when he takes us down it will have been pointless.
