Could not argue at the time as we were so far away and the view being somewhat restricted at the back .

After seeing it again it does look a bit unlucky in as much that Hemmings did not appear to do a lot and the Southend player has put it past the Goalkeeper under the minimum amount of pressure. This opinion is only formed from the point the action is picked up by the FLS at which point Hemmings does no even appear offside.

Lucky to escape with a point had it not been for cousins.

Ah that's the rub tho DTD we kept a clean sheet and if the goal had stood Southend would have needed two to win ,something they have for a few seasons now failed to do on a consistant basis.

The facts are we had the ball in the net they did not so on that basis alone I just asking the question.

Looking at the highlights he was, looks clear on there.

The iffy one is the first one for two reasons. One, Hemmings (??) doesn't even look offside, and secondly the influencing the game issue. Also, watch the Southend defenders reaction!!!

Yep just seen it,we have definitely been robbed.

It's not at all easy to tell if Hemmings is in an offside position or not from the video.
If he is, then disallowing the goal is correct - if he wasn't there the Southend player wouldn't be looking the play the ball the way he does.

We certainly weren't robbed though - it's not like we have a good record of hanging on to leads this season.

Looks offside to me. The guy in the middle is furthest back but Hemmings is just standing in the next stripe of pitch. Not even half a yard in it though.

The Youtube highlights give a better look at the Hemmings offside than the Player ones. Looks onside to me. But to say we were robbed after Cousins made about 8 saves is pushing it
