Halfway through the season now so where do we all think we will finish. You can give two answers... One with Wayne as manager and one without.

With - No, 23rd I think

Without - Yes, 14th - 19th

With.........On current form(We're averaging just over a point a game)we will finish with about 47-48 points, not enough so relegated.
Without.....Unknown quantity innit ? But Id say a new ethos may well see us get the required points to stay up.

I truly think these players are good enough but they aren't organised, set up or managed at all well.

I think we will probably stay up but more through the failure of other teams than us improving.
It may end up doing more long term damage than going down.
Burnetts contract renewed, longer term players clearing off at the end of contracts, a lot of season tickets not renewed when prices go back up etc.

If players like Obileye stay for the majority of the season...

19th with Manager
16th without

As Adrian says, my concerns are around us staying up and the manager getting a new contract... Abs, Doe and others off in the Summer and we go down next year

Still don't think Hartlepool will stay up, whoever is in charge there and Carlisle were worse defensively than us in the Home game... someone else will have a wobble even if the current poor teams like Tranmere get out of trouble

We will stay up with Wayne no doubt about it
Once we are safe think the pattnership of the future will be given a run in team. Therefore where we finish will be as to if Doidge and Yasseff are really up to it. If they are mid table if not 20th-22nd

I would be surpirsed if Hartlepool get out of it even with Moore so thats one place gone in my view, but if they finish above us we will be gonners. The other spot it could be many from 7 or 8 teams.

23rd or scrap survival with the current regime.
not much higher without as some of the players are just not good enough.

With.....Going down

Without.....Mood in the club goes up, Gates go up ,As long as they dont let Mr T have anything to do with choosing the new manager,we could stay up.

So presumably Murphy has no place ta all in the team this season as he can't even get on from the bench when we have a higely innefective Agyemang up top

Can't see what Doidge will bring if he can't get a game now in front of not one but two Loanee strikers

I don't understand how simply changing the manager suddenly makes everyone happier. Plenty of teams have changed manager and still been shit after.

Very true, but we are really shit at the moment and have been for over a year now, and its relegation form, particularly at home (see viewtopic.php?f=2&t=701 for details).

How long do we leave it before we try something different?

Insanity = doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

All depends on who we can bring in for me. If there's no guarantee of getting someone decent in then what's the point?

Get me in to do it then. What you're saying is in essence "Our manager is shit but we might just get another shit one so lets stick with Wayne and go down anyway".I at worst would be as shit ,Im sure I could get us relegated too without much effort and you've already sort of accepted that. However I might just get us the points to stay up.I would then let me go at the end of the season as my point would have been made.I know I couldn't do much better long term but a nice cheerfull personality round the place and a new ethos might just buck up the team to do a bit better, you know, get on my good side and make a good impression.

We'll stay up either way. The players in the squad as a whole are "Too good to go down"

If Burnett stays, highly likely we'll go down, so why not sack him now as it can't get much worse, or can it...............

What if after a shocking run of results, particularly at home, we stay up on the last day of the season, following another defeat and relying on other teams to lose too. Deja vu I hear you cry. Then Burnett is awarded another 2 year contract !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
