Hi all

Two of my Grandsons won the Junior Daggers monthly draw in August and September (pure coincidence!).

Their prize was to visit the lads and watch them training and then have lunch with them. This was arranged for yesterday and I have to say that the boys had a fantastic time. Every player took the time to make them feel at home were happy to sign autographs, chat with them and pose for photographs.

They were able to see as Wayne took the players through the tactics on the field. All about dealing with the ball on the floor and taking it through midfield to the last third, really interesting.

The boys will remember the day for a long time and not only because lunch (spaghetti and meatballs) was one of their favourites too! From Steve Thompson to Teresa Parish through Wayne, Warren and the players, it was a shining example of the family atmosphere at the club. The only player they were unable to speak to was Zavon but he had to rush off with Doey to the Stadium for an interview for Soccer AM.
