Tuesday night games

Interesting fixtures tonight

Aldershot v Fylde
Wealdstone v Boston
Woking v Rochdale

That takes care of the game in hand they have over us. I'm trying to work out the best combination of Wealdstone v Boston, as they both can't lose.

I would prefer Boston to win this one purely to keep Wealdstone below us. If not a draw.

If there's a winner it's back in our own hands.

From our perspective it has to be a draw. A win either way would put us further in the mire.

At the moment the only thing in our favour is our goal difference.

Wealdstone and Boston play each other again in a couple of weeks again. Thing is we also need to look at who they are playing in the last 6 games. It looks like at least 3 wins and a draw but on the current form am I asking too much

Solihull Moors are the team who could be dragged down into it imo. That final game of the season could well be a decider

Wealdstone win. I agree that a draw would have suited us the best but any result wasn't the worst for us. Keeps Boston below us and Wealdstone still within reach, as are Woking.

Look at who Wealdstone have to play, the Boston games are their best chance of points. So them winning tonight was a bad result for us. Luckily at least Fylde lost and Woking at somewhat 1 swing of results away from being below us.

It’s mad to think we are in this situation after sacking a manager for not doing enough to make the playoffs. What idiots the owners of this club are and I fully look forward to the upcoming forum.

We’re now in a situation where every team around us at the toilet end of the league has played the same amount of games, in some respects we have got a bit of good fortune in the fact that we have not ended up in the relegation places, so now it’s up to us to do the necessary and pick up points.
I’m a little bit confident that we can pick up at least a point at Gateshead on Saturday we just need a minor tweak…. Get rid of Young now! The players are good enough but the tactics are crap.
I’m also looking forward to the forum but I’m guessing that the majority of those people who run this club don’t turn up.

Gateshead have lost their last 6, then drawn the 2 before that. They’re due 3 points

I went to the game yesterday ! Two teams who were really up for it. Alex Reid was the difference, we are crying out for a striker like that.

I wanted Boston to win to because Wealdstone's next few games are quite hard, so, I think this makes it more difficult for us.

This tuesday is massive for us. woking, boston both away.

Aldershot v boston- aldershot have played something like saturday tuesday 7 weeks on the trot. Wouldn't surprise me if they are burnt out and boston win this.

Oldham v woking- oldham have had a rest, not played for over a week. 4th in the league, and good home form recently, woking not won away for 2 months. A home win surely.

Doesn’t matter what the other sides do we’re currently not good enough to catch them. Boston will beat Aldershot who got to Wembley in Trophy on Saturday, hangover for them. We have 15 points from 18 games since Young has been in charge. This clown would have us relegated on about 35 points over a whole season. Stop doing it to yourselves, it’s over, plan for NLS.

Looking at other teams picking up points it does seem difficult to see us getting out of being relegated however, while we still have a chance of staying up the hope is still there. Our next two home games seem crucial at the moment and hopefully Dion will be available for these games so will see what happens.
