Fylde away

It is very difficult at the moment with all that's going on to show any positivity, however, we have a really important game tomorrow. They are below us in the league and is crucial that we get something from the game but perhaps easier said than done. We still have sixteen games to play this season but desperately need to start winning games soon.
Just hoping for three points tomorrow.

We need about 5 wins in 16 games to stay up starting tomorrow, we absolutely can’t lose tomorrow or we’re really done for. Given we’ve hardly won at all recently I don’t fancy our chances of staying up but a win tomorrow would be big. Won’t get anything out the next two so we need to win really.

Good luck and safe travels to anyone making the game tomorrow. Please bring us back 3 points from the match (not on your driving licence!)

3rd visit here tomorrow and sure we've never beaten them at the Mill plenty of draws though, remember one year one of our players scoring last seconds maybe Lingy from a corner, its 17th up against 21st with only 5 in between and boy don't really feel much confidence in them to see the Coasters off, just gotta lay in hope, surely he's got to start with Oscar? Hope they sell Soup at Half time? 2 degrees feeling like -5. But IF we do pull out a win that great Club bar will be something special at 5!

Agree we should start with Rutherford, also assuming Dion will start as well. Not sure what situation is with Phipps but hasn't been seen last couple of weeks.
Not at all confident but just hope we can get something positive out of our long journey up north today.

Our new manager seems to have an aversion to sharing any kind of injury update. So we'll have to guess about Phipps.

He'll likely start Dion out of desperation but wouldn't surprise me if he broke down again.

I know mate asking him a question about injuries is like pulling teeth. He'd make a great MP.
I don't know what the big secret is, everyone knows how shite we are ffs so what's the big deal.
It's not like we're suddenly going to unmask a secret that world football hasn't thought of.
Our style is sideways, sideways and whoosh it's not rocket science.
But then again we're all singing from the same underpants hymn sheet I suppose.

Rutherford at right back which is good, unfortunately Rees out through illness. Also Dion only on the bench along with Hill, good to see Lawless back in the squad because long time since he's been seen.

I got all excited, thinking we'd finally get a new manager bounce.
Unfortunately the table tonight looks even more precarious.

I feel sick at how our lovely club is being pushed into oblivion.

Listened to the commentary, sounded as though they had more of the play although chances at each end so could of gone either way. Commentator impressed with Remy in first half and particularly Dion in second half.

A game that could've gone either way with plenty of big chances apiece, including throughout a topsy-turvy stoppage time.

A point is a fair result but doesn't really suffice because we needed all three.

I think they'll say exactly the same.

Indeed it's hard to envisage where the next triumph is coming from.

Well that was a game to win to get us a good gap ahead of the bottom four but yet again the manager made a huge error by not starting Dion, he’s our best player and needs to start and it’s cost us. It was the same against Woking playing Rutherford over Rendall was the call he failed to do it. Our next 3 are really tough when you currently can’t buy a win. I don’t see us getting out of it with this chap in charge, way out of his depth as the results clearly show and only his sacking will leads us to safety or the fact the those below are rubbish. Big big trouble ahead when you can’t really score goals and can’t keep a clean sheet and have two away wins all season, what a shambles from those running the club.

As Dion has been out injured I would guess the manager is not starting him at this stage because he needs to ease him back in rather than rush back and then break down again. As we were also missing Rees I was just pleased we at least picked up a point.
