If ever there was a must win game to halt this slide it’s this one, we’re playing our first team with all our ex players and it seems although Vincent won’t be allowed to play neither Grego Cox which is a worry as Umerah went off limping. 3 home games in a week and we’ve failed to win the first two so no pressure lads. They looked like they turned a comer under Ardley, conceding less but drawing a few and thumped by big spenders York no surprise there. A win here and Saturday will go a long long way to securing safety, can’t rely on our gane in hand at Halifax.
Hopefully Dion is back, Young said he was back in training and in contention for Tomorrow.

As we are playing a team lower than us in the league it is a game we should be winning despite our poor form and really hope that we do. What concerns me is as they have Effiong and Junior in their ranks they are more than likely to come back and bite us as invariably former players have done in the past.
In reality we still have seventeen games still to play so plenty of points still available and anything can happen in that time, having said that. to start picking up points sooner rather than later would certainly give everyone involved in the club a lot more confidence going forward.

Hard to see us as being good enough to win tonight, return of Morias & Effiong, Dion nowhere to be seen, club in a mess off the pitch too. But this feels like one of those matches where we pull it out from nowhere and get a good 3 points. Got to play these kids again instead of Rendall N’Guessan and even Hill

Rutherford in at right back instead of Rendall I hope, this would give us a far bigger threat going forward.

This is a very important game for us and we dont get anything tonight Fylde Saturday will even more so as after that with the likes of Halifax and Oldham on the horizon and even the lower level sides in our vicinity seem to be picking up a couple of decent results, need to do it now NOT later.

Rutherford still only on bench but at least have Dion back in squad.

Well that was always going to happen. Should of done more to keep morais. When I first started hearing the daggers are in crisis I didn't really believe it but now I realise the sad truth. Crisis doesn't even begin to cover it

How shit and for how many games does Rendall need to be before Young starts Oscar instead ?
We were dreadful tonight again. This is now a relegation battle and I'm not too sure we'll survive. Lewis is out of his depth and I think we're only 5 points off relegation and all those bottom teams have games in hand.
I was a bit fed up junior celebrated his goals so jubilantly but as he went off he said he loved us fans just not the board. Fair play to him , tbh the only decent entertainment all evening was his first goal.

Two and a half ******** years, guys. What idiots sign that off? That’s who’s running the club and we are doomed. We expect players to suddenly pull better performances out of nowhere too, but Hill, Eastman, Hess all on their way out á la Justham. Then loan players not invested in this club’s long term future. A manager with no tactics and no idea who his best players are. Doomed doomed doomed.
I love this club, but there is so much of it that I now hate because of how it has been run over the last few years. Tonight is really hitting home where we now are.

I make that 5 points from a possible 21 and 3 of those came against an Ebbsfleet side that are already doomed. If that's not relegation material then I don't know what is. In a way I was glad Junior scored because it showed these incompetent w..k... What they got rid of.
I'm actually beginning to believe that these owners actually want relegation. First off they out Ben and replace him with a novice, out the captain, and then without batting an eyelid get rid of Junior who scores twice against us tonight!!!
I've seen some incompetence over the last few years at our club but this lot are really top notch.
Rank amateurs doesn't even begin to cover it.

Blimey, every time I come on here it feels like I'm saying 'that was terrible' 'the worst' etc etc but that first half...even if did get better with the subs we didn't deserve anything out the game really. Like someone said, it slightly irked that JM overdid the celebrations but he's that sort of player, he wears his heart on his sleeve and maybe a signal to our owners. But we are in absolute free fall and heading for relegation at this rate...
