I actually want Femi to score after running with the ball from his own 6yd box then nutmegging Thug on the halfway line and leaving him for dead with that Femi pace we all knew and loved, finally walloping it in from about 3 yards out.Thgen he can run to the dugout, curl one off and sling it in Waynes face yelling "that shit, that's you that is !!"

Obviously then want us to reply with 6 goals in five mins but I really hope Femi has a good return. We should never have let him go.

Bit strange tomorrow seeing Femi again but in another shirt, sure he'll get a good reception that he deserves, never forgot that belter and only goal he scored for us way outfield whilst us daggers perched up on that horrible scaffolding of an away end v the Gills a couple seasons back. Use to love his wing runs but yo- yo ing with young Jack last season and the odd injury he's days were numbered being a regular and things move on I suppose but certainly could do a good turn for us this season the way its been going. Cant feel confident with a good result at all with the present climate so if we draw probably sink one or two more post club, knowing our luck like last season when we met at that awful game up there and turned their season around probably go again like that tomorrow as York been going on downfall like us at the moment. Be surprised if we get any more than 1,700, and its crucial the team now come good and give the fans something positive to talk about.

sentimental codswallop.

He spent so much time ball watching I am surprised we did not flog him a season ticket.
Would not be surprised if he was a serial victim of a pickpocket as he was totally unaware at times at what was going on around him. A habit he does not appear to have sorted by the way with a Manager who does not shout at the poor little mite.

Despite getting into more prominent positions then an over worked Porn Actor his tally of one goal and one assist proved he could not deliver a letter.

These are the awful truth won't make me popular cos you can't let facts get in the way of a good story.

Bottom line he is a good defender which is his main job. He had poor form at times but doesn't everyone at this level. Much better than anything we've got in that position.

Away from Femi for a second... isn't it great to the answers to all our poor Home form problems has been here all season sitting on the bench!!

Rejoice rejoice rejoice, not getting carried away however there were lots of things about what we did today that any decent Team would have dealt with and made us pay.

The better of two poor teams won and if there was anymore efforts then what we scored from then I missed it . Found the whole 90 boardering on tedious.

Still waiting for our Manager to explain how he ever thought that the Clown was a better goalkeeper then Cousins.

Sounded like a relatively straightforward win on the radio, albeit seemingly very scrappy throughout. Sort of game we'd usually lose 1-0 by the sounds..

Pleased that Cousins is stepping up to the plate, thought he was the obvious first choice in pre-season and it seems as though he's showing that from the comments I've read. At the end of the day I'm just happy to have the three points. Only 4 from the play-offs now ;-)

Don't disagree with you Sussex but it's the games when both teams are playing poorly that we have to be winning at Home... as Nick says, that's the sort of match we usually lose 1-0 to a corner. Certainly not one for the 'full 90 minute highlights' treatment but take that above a decent Oxford-type performance when we leave with just the 1 point

Well, it was a win, but it wasn't a game that is going to pull the crowds in.

They were poor, we were slightly less poor.

Labadie did nothing all game and ends up with two goals and MOM - pretty much summed the whole game up.
Cureton works his arse off but needs some decent balls played to him occassionally. Porter should not have his contracted renewed, unless he can put the effort he puts into throwing himself on the floor and managing to not challenge for headers into something that would actually be useful.
Boucauds forward passing is shocking at times.

Not sure why our supporters were chanting for Lowe to be sent off for a hard but fairly controlled challenge, but didn't react so much to Penn who dived in knee first onto Boucaud while he was on the ground.

Nothing like a bit of positivity aye..

Play well and lose = "Doesn't matter if we play well, t's the result that counts"
Play not great and win = "We played poor and other teams would be beat us"

We won, at home, which is what people wanted, we were better than them on the day, so I'm happy.

we played 4 centre mids in what can only be a tactical formation to stifle out york.

if they had a decent winger we get smashed today so my only guess is they like to play it through the middle so wayne won that tactical battle!.

ladabie did more the howell who imo is not playing well at all but runs around all game so gets noticed more.

defended much better today and i won golden goal hehe

now another 3 points friday ill be over the moon

It was a bit of a bore but we never looked liked losing this one.Aint gonna moan,we won and didn't concede.I agree a better team would have buried their chances. Now another 3 points v Exeter and I can go on my holidays happy.
