Another couple of goals from Josh Walker - on a great bit of form at the mo..

Still pretty gutted about how disappointing we were on Saturday, but a nice 3 point haul from tonight.

Nice win and quickly to get confidence back after Saturday's defeat and at last on the 7th place ramp in play offs, Eastleigh Tuesday big game to maintain or push it higher ?

Great run of goalscoring form but I'll take a clean sheet from anywhere this season

Two brilliant finishes from Walker on a night where he could have had double that tally, with the 70 minutes inbetween almost exclusively consisting of us standing off Aldershot to allow them possession in much the same way we did their near rivals Woking three days prior, the difference being that they were incapable of converting territory into tangible opportunities.

Wasn't a good performance whatsoever and most other sides at this level would have beaten us under the same parameters, but job done - another away win, with a clean sheet too, and the consequence being that we're finally in the play-off places. Now the challenge is staying there.

Walker rightfully gets the plaudits but Harry Phipps at the other end was simply phenomenal. Why he was not brought straight in on Saturday is utterly bemusing because he is our best defender by an absolute mile.

Onwards and upwards, COYD.

Frustrating to watch at times.
The travelling support were getting very iritated at how we surrendered our first half dominance in midfield second half.

To be fair to the gaffer it worked , we drew them onto us and hit them on the counter with our pace up top against a very slow and cumbersome defence.

Four one one ones Josh took 2 very well ,should have done better with the other two and a last ditch great tackle saved a very poor Aldershot team from a hammering.

If that second goal had come earlier the frustration of the Daggers support could have been avoided as we would have won in a canter.

However that's not the Daggers way and as the second goal would not come it looked like a burglary could take place at anytime.

Alas with Phipps restored to his rightfull place and a good effort from the rest of his Colleagues in defence one goal would have been enough.

Oh and if there is a better Keeper then ours in this League I aint seen him because on the only occasion our defenders did lapse he was there as always to save the day.

Upto 7th and things are looking positive . Can't help but feel however a couple of additions to the midfield would not go amiss and would ensure our play off place . Sadly Robbo looks very leggy and in need of a rest to me ,we dont appear to have many options in this vital area of the field.

Well done boys good team effort but boy dont you like putting us through it

An excellent result on the back of a poor defeat on Saturday.
Did McMahon revert back to flat back 4 last night?

The standard five still, with Hare at RWB.

What a strange game football really is, in the last 4 games we’ve played well once at Maidstone where I though we dominated despite not scoring and all the other games we’ve been abysmal but have 9 points to show for it. One thing is for certain as Woking showed you can’t play as bad as that against a decent side and expect to get anything.

I echo everything said by Sussex, as he also mentioned on the way out the ground this division is criminally bad and it would be jail time for McMahon if we didn’t make the play offs. New midfielder also required.

Onwards and upwards.

Desperately need a midfielder in the Khan mould. Energy, ball carrying, and aggression required.

Thought we were poor last night but hit them on the break so easily, their defence had the concentration span of a goldfish. It concerned me how much of the ball and territory supposedly inferior team were able to have against us.
