I can see this being a tough first game, Geeetshead will be up for it after promotion as champions, I’m hoping 2-0 to us.

Tough game a giant champions of the north from last season, they’ve lost their two top strikers from last season so hopefully they won’t have the goals in them to outscore us. Let’s hope we have a successful season, our long time suffering fans deserve something after 12 years of not a lot.

4-1 and we concede a goal in extra and from a corner at that.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

I'm going to go with

Daggers 2 - 1 Gateshead

Still not convinced that we've ironed out the defensive problems from set pieces quite enough, so they'll probably score.

If you've seem any of pre-season and you have the opposition down to score 0 then I'm not sure what you've been watching 🤔

Just to temper the positivity, let's have a 1-1 to start the season... drew the last three friendlies and not convinced we concede less then we score today.

Will be happy if we buck last seasons trend and take the lead for once instead of constantly chasing games from a goal behind.

McCallum for us, a set piece for them
