Massive game as we look to reignite our faltering play-off hopes at the unenviable destination of the side holding the last remaining unbeaten home record, but whose patchy recent form amid well-documented controversy behind the scenes is a source of optimism.

We've fallen short against the top teams recently and can't afford that to be the case again.

Hockley Junior, currently on his way to the match from Scotland, reckons we will beat Chesterfield then lose to Altrincham. That would be about typical of this team. Have a good day if you're going!

So another failure of a season, contract extension for the manager then.

Looks like the two goals for Chesterfield came off penalty kicks. Anyone at the match commenting on if the referee called it correct? I was keeping an eye on score update websites but that is about it.

Here's where we stand, in 15 days the three most fancied sides for promotion have completely put us aside no ifs or buts and today certainly was not without a bit of fight and Josh Walker placed his goal very well but we just can't seem to completely take control of a game from the start its so annoying, penalties? missed the first and to no avail underneath stand with the mini tv to clarify but 50/50 with mates later, but the second definitely was, can't use it as an excuse we got to go out there and be more clinical, time is running out.
