Wealdstone (H)

Tuesday night delivered another immensely dissatisfying conclusion for the Daggers, but there's no further time to dwell on it as the frantic National League schedule sends another opponent hurtling towards us. It's another London visitor in the form of Wealdstone, but hopefully this time the points will be staying this side of the capital in a game that has the added component of being the weekend's live BT Sport offering.

The Stones season opener was postponed, meaning there is only their midweek draw at Yeovil Town to assess them on as they travel to Victoria Road just under four years shy of their last trip here. We triumphed 3-1 that day to progress to the first round of the FA Cup, and a similar outcome would be gratefully received now as Dagenham's quest to get their first points on the board frustratingly seeps into the third matchday.

Come on Dagenham - let's kick-start our season today.

Much better, more tempo to our game. Could have probably scored a couple more but a wins a win.

Marked improvement from the Barnet debacle! Held them to one attempt on target ....and that was in the 93rd minute!
Thought we took the foot off the gas a little last 15 minutes, but thought we pressed them well and controlled the game throughout.
Maybe we could of had another goal or two, but hey! its 3pts!

Hopefully kick on from here

Eleftheriou was superb today. I don’t really think Wealdstone turned up today looking for anything, but when they did attack he was all over it. Never liked Adams but he was good today, much less sloppy in our passing and we were winning much more in midfield. Could have done with Robinson in the squad when Brundle and Adams were both booked however!

Still wasn’t the performance of a team going places, but it’s a start. On to Woking who have taken an absolute spanking today.

A lot to be proud of today. Some really impressive performances and a deserved three points at the end of it.

We have lift off - well done boys!

Decent performance. Wish we had properly tested their keeper a bit more but got the ball in the right places. Defence did their job well. Adams fitted into the squad well and looks better than his entire last spell already.

Well, it's a start isn't it, but let's not get carried away.

Thought it was basically the same performance as Tuesday, we got in front, but failed to find the 2nd killer goal.

Unlike Tuesday though, we weren't punished this time, late on, but there bloke will be having nightmares about not putting that great chance
away, at the very end.

Never the less, a win is a win.

Now let's see us follow it up on Tuesday.

I thought it was a better performance than Tuesday. The team was better balanced playing the 4-2-3-1 formation. I do think we are no where near challenging top 7 even on that performance but as many of us have said, it's a start and onwards and upwards.

I like the midfield pairing of Brundle and Adams. Rated Adams when he was here last. My concern is with the wide positions. Brown did ok but we need someone to just put the ball into the box. I can't wait to see what Saunders can do!

On to Tuesday, another hard fought 3 pts expected. COYD

It wasn’t pretty yet slightly better than Tuesday and we came away with 3 points.

In the end its the points that matter. The season we went up, we didn’t play pretty football but we got the results.

Much better performance, much better balanced side.Still feeling good about having a decent season.New teams will always take time to gel,so I’m happy and will reserve judgment 10/12 games in.Nice to see Adams back, hope we get to see a lot more of him this time round.

The fact that Ángelo Balanta was the eventual difference-maker yet again here would have come at absolutely no surprise to the supporters who have been revelling in his brilliance for two years now.
