Can't see many people turning up and paying full price , when they know that 3rd of the crowd have only paid £7.

Maybe, I don't know if they've counted 6K tickets in a long time

Thinking is quoted as saying 1000 was needed or we would lose £50k. This was a quote from that book.Phippo wrote:It was in the 800s, which I believe is 300 plus up on last year! Will it turn out to be a good gamble?

I touched upon this in another thread.
Although welcomed ,I cant see how this was ever going to be an amazing financial success for the club.If anything they made it too cheap(£7.78 a game was rather generous). The move must surely have killed off the casual fan in great numbers.Us ST Holders are all payed up and have saved £10.22 a game or a whopping £235.06 over the course of the season if we attend all 23 games.Knowing the bloke next to you got in for £7.78 when you've just payed £18.00 will definitely have a detrimental effect on your future attendance especially if we continue to churn out dire performances.Remember we as ST holders get just as pissed off with it all when we lose constantly and some undoubtedly will not renew if the team don't do the business whatever the price.I think the club have a terrible habit of reacting too late in the day on many things. This desperate measure being just 3 years too late. The horse has bolted. The only thing that will save us from the downward totals in attendance is a good winning team.
Incidently why should I pay more to see us play a team that should murder us tonight when we couldnt beat one Saturday that we should've been able to match ? Kids for a Quid tonight, what about adults for free as a sort of apology for being so poop the other day LOL!! (For those that don't see it,I am being sarcy rather than making a serious point in my last sentence)
