Couldn’t make it but on the comms we sounded terrible first half and only got back into via a deflected free kick, just glad we never lost this one.

Taylor has given us a a god awful squad and the new manager has a huge job to keep us up as the severe lack of goals has us close to goof down. All the hype over House’s injury looks very silly now.

Unbeaten this year!

I don’t think it’s in dispute that the squad isn’t great, but equally, you’d have to say that some of them are going through the motions and, regardless of the manager/coach, they should be giving a lot more week in week out than they are.

Can’t disagree and some of them had decent rises to join us from their previous clubs and it’s gone to their heads. Some of them though are simply not good enough.

Desperate for Balanta to get fit now.

Wasn’t at the game today, How did House do? Has he done much for us apart from his brace in his first 45 mins for the club.

Is his loan up next week?

Same old crap 1st half. Concede early and now we’re chasing for a draw. Terrible first half.
2nd half we definitely had something about us but I think you could leave chike and McQueen playing till midnight next Saturday and they still wouldn’t score. They just don’t know how to put it in the net their end product always terrible.House I think is very good but wasn’t getting the chances. Now it hurts me to say this but Luque might as well just do one. Did nothing again, geezers a passenger. You know whose going to play their hearts out Robbo, Clark, manny, chike but we’ve got too many shirkers. We are right in the shit and we need players who are gonna fight. Quigley should have started, McQueen too lightweight.
Has he really gone ? Taylor out !!

Stayed till the end. Quigley don’t do much wrong to be fair. Dunno how McQueen gets a start.

Was hoping for a different setup in the team today, would have liked to see 2 up front from the start which didn't happen and House is struggling (do we miss Deering that much?). Ebbsfleet nicked a goal then tried to hang on in similar style to their behavior on Boxing Day (e,g, time wasting, fake injuries, clash injuries, physio on for fake injuries).
Still don't see it with Dagenham & R the attitude and fervor to get out of this mess. I really hope to see a bit more on Saturday but today was a real, missed, chance for 3 points. We need to pick up soon otherwise the season is already gone if not already

Well, what can we take from that ??.

Ebbsfleet are deffo going down, they have failed twice, to accept 3 gift wrapped points, very poor team, cannot see how they will get anwhere near enough points.

Unfortunately, without major changes, we are heading down with them.

We have no time left, to mess around with Brown running the team.

New Manager must be appointed by Saturday if possible, and he is going to need 3 or 4 decent standard (non glass) players thru the door by end January, or it's Conf South next season.

Understand that is asking a lot, but unfortunately Taylor has left us in a total mess with some of these players, that he brought in, who just don't seem upto it.

There are a few absolute passengers in that team, those players know who they are !!, and there mugging off us & there team mates.

First half was a Taylor performance. Second half performance was miles better, though obviously it was only against Ebbsfleet who have got to be the worst team in the division. Still, we had a bit of fight about us, created loads of openings and ended with 4 strikers on the pitch - that would never have happened under Taylor, and it was good to see us go for it.

However, therein lies the problem. We created so many opportunities but the only one we scored, and only one we looked like scoring, came courtesy of a deflected free-kick. Though it was pleasing to see us look more creative, that was rendered meaningless by our lack of composure and dreadful decision-making in the box.

Rightly as been stated we were far better second period but must have been at least three times they caught us on the counter and from someone sitting up there end second half and a grand view of it how Ugwu missed that 'winner' for them you could quite easily understand why they gave him so much stick! On another attack Justham saved brilliantly with his legs, no wonder they are where they are, all in all frustrating again for us especially a stupid flaw for their early goal, both at fault or what? We certainly had the chance to wrap it up well before those incidents though and yet again we failed, no quick fix this, we've got some battle on our hands but we must get behind them and have faith (Somehow)

First-half was dreadful as has been said but at least there was a marked improvement in our mentality if nothing else in the second-half. Then again you can't be throwing five forwards on every week - and it doesn't bode particularly well that even with all of those on we still didn't score from open play. And while we have at least scored away from home for the first time since 2nd November, we've not scored away from home in open play since September 24th at Sutton.....which is appalling and just goes to show the mire we're in.

Positives to take and I understand this is a fresh start and all that but the fact remains we're a point above the drop and have failed to beat objectively the worst side in the league over 180 minutes of football.

Match Report: Ebbsfleet 1 Daggers 1

Though it was pleasing to see a spirited second-half bombardment of Ebbsfleet's goal, that we only had a deflected free-kick to show for our efforts is an alarming indictment of our attacking capabilities.
